Data Operations - Interaction Options

FlexVertex offers a variety of techniques for working with your data, which we'll explore in this unit.
First, decide whether you'll work with your data interactively or via a programmatic API. For interactive tasks, you can use straight SQL or FlexVertex Voyager. SQL is great for simple insert, update, and delete statements, but Voyager is better for complex data manipulation, such as establishing connections among objects.
We support APIs for various programming languages, all capable of invoking SQL and Voyager. Once you've chosen your method, you can run your code as part of an application or through FlexVertex Cartographer or Periscope. You can also use any ODBC-aware tool.
