Hey, in the wonderful modern world we live in, four countries can join in celebrating Emma's success: Canada (where she was born), Romania (father), China (mother) and the UK (where she grew up and learnt her tennis). My mum was a semi-pro who once played Virginia Wade (and lost) but because of the class system in the U.K. could never break out into the professional ranks.
