Something that’s bothered me even back when I was delusional and like TCW is Anakin outfit from Season 3-7 it’s supposed to be close to if not actually his Revenge of the Sith outfit but it’s not because both of his outfits in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith have leather but neither of his TCW Main outfits do
My biggest problem with that is Onderon is mentioned as the planet, yet they never even touch upon its more Sithly origins. I mean, the royal family is descended from a fallen Jedi who became a Sith Lord, Freedon Nadd, the moon of Dxun has a Sith tomb complex made for him, and they don't even have the Beast Riders, who were an important part of Onderon culture, being former criminals who were exiled from the city by the Sith only for them to thrive by taming the beasts outside the walls.
"Our show has moral nuance!" The moral nuance: "Okay, so a ship with all the fan-favourite good guys and one with some very obvious villians landed on my planet and I wasn't sure who to join at first. But then the very obvious villians killed my family so I joined the good guys."
Something important is that Lux leading Onderon to join "the good guys" was actually the biggest mistake he would've made for his people since siding with the Republic directly sends it to be under Imperial control Not that Lux himself cared much about it, during the better part of the civil war he was happy being rich while his people suffered. I'm sure his mother would be proud of him The Separatists were right btw
Last collaboration with Theo you hit 500, now 1000, it's like poetry, it rhymes. It is to say that it took the Falcon 200 hours to go from Tatooine to Alderaan (in Episode IV); the distance from Coruscant to Mandalore to Raxus Secundus is more or less the same... so the trip would take them more than two weeks, if not three, considering them staying for a whatever time and the trip back to Coruscant. I'm sure no one would notice them leaving 😂 Also, Dooku is just the Leader of the Senate, not the Universe... B*tch HE started the War! Got Padmé almost killed, caused the death of many Jedi, but no he is not that bad... Which should make people reflect on the fact that as soon as a Peace proposal is presented to Dooku to discuss, immediately after an attack happens to sabotage the effort for peace... The man that started the war and openly attacked the Jedi and a Senator of the Republic, for some reason, is not a suspect, and for some reason people that want peace, still want Dooku as their representative. By the way, it's so funny how, as soon as the bombs go off, "IT'S BEIGN CONFIRMED IT'S THE SEPARATISTS!" WHO??? Who confirmed it? How? When? It happened just now, we already have the culprit... And it's not suspicious at all, for what everybody knows, it's impossible for the CIS to infiltrate Coruscant and do such things (ignoring the fact that all they need to do is to fool ONE single Clone Trooper...) This series is infuriating... Yes, the Delegation of the 2000 is present in the deleted scenes from Revenge of the Sith, but they are still Canon according to the old system, alongside with the scenes of Padmé, Mothma, Bail and others kickstarting the Rebellion...
To be fair, Genosis wasen't part of the republic (But sepratist align) so the Jedi being there and Senator and then followed up by oocupation will look like republic agression.
Depends, actually, on whether the war started in early, mid, or late 22 BBY. Based on the chronology of episodes, this one seems to take place late 21 BBY. So, it could be up to 2yrs of war so far. 🤷♀️ ~ M.E.
Star Wars politics were never anything deep Just boils down to Democracy good Republic become corrupt Corruption made citizens disillusioned Disillusionment can lead to secession or even civil war which can be used to the favor of opportunists
You know, when you have an episode with a 22-minute runtime, and you're tackling a nuanced and complicated subject, every second, frame, line in the episode-everything counts, and you have to make it count! So, of course, let's have two teens ogling at each other for a few of those precious minutes! Let's have a scene where Grievous screams at some droids for another few minutes! Droids who don't need a motivational speech, mind you! They're programmed to obey no question. "Ice Cream! You are cold and you will melt says I! Is that clear?" "We don't really need you to wallow to death." This is so dumb.
To be fair the Grievous scene is kinda sad, considering he once led the kaleesh into battle he probably wants to emulate the feeling even if it's ultimately useless Remember the capes his magnaguards wear
If nuance = bad guys don't know they're on bad guys' side, but when they do, they become good guys Then this show is as "nuanced" as they come. Unfortunately... that ain't nuance.
It's like Bozo-Katan eagerly vouching for Deathwatch and their terrorist actions up until her boyfriend lost to a non-human and she left the group then went crying to the Republic in to fix the mess that SHE caused

Well in terms of the political sphere there is some realism to that. Not everyone realized what was wrong with Nazi Germany right away
@@JDog2656 Maybe so, but I don't think anyone will make the argument that Nazi Germany was morally nuanced.

The PT’s nuanced and subtle separatists, not TCW’s 2D separatists for those who want to know.
You can hear how overjoyed Theo is that there is no choir in this episode.

Fair point 🤔
Saying that this episode or anything in TCW is nuanced is like arguing about the tree is wood or plastic.
I’m so glad more people are finally calling this show out for being overrated.
So this show just proved Filoni and the writers for this show have the political understanding of children.
Looks like it 😂
If it is in 21 BBY then only 1 year has passed not 2

I feel it could have been done better and less silly, but that's too good a point to ignore.
