I picked up a couple of tips as usual. The order of cuts and inlays is what makes you able to produce these works of art. The fine lines are really incredible. Thanks for sharing.
Superb accuracy in such a many layered design, a fraction out could ruin the piece, but you are expert! Not seen ANY that can match your quality of art, design or execution
Your CNC skills are exceptional. What program do you prefer to use for your layouts? I have attempted several times, with little success, to do elementary inlay work like this, but nothing nearly so complicated or intricate. My problem is that I can't get the insets to match up with the cutouts. Right now I am between houses/shops and CNC machines (for the last year!) so it will be a while before I can work on it again. By the way, beautiful work! Long time watcher; first time commenter.
Do you have any videos that go over the inlay process in depth? I’m assuming you make the inlay side a % larger and chamfer both sides with the 12 degree bit so everything fits snug?
@@Broinwood awesome. You're channel motivated me to start my own small business. I'd love to offer a semblance of this quality. Looking forward to learning. Good work as always on this video too
@@Broinwood one more q.I have a design made by bohdan the graphic designer that he does ur designs as well. I got prepared everything . If I send u the design to ur email , can u guys make the toolpath and sell it for me ?
Incredible. The only problem(Not really a problem) I have with your boards is I would need to buy two of them, Too nice to use, Need one to keep and another for actual use. :) That gives me an idea, Is it possible to order one of these with inlay on both sides? Seems like the board is thick enough?
These are always outstanding !!! is there any chance you would share your start / flat depths on your positive and inlay cuts ?? Im still having problems with getting inlays deep enough still being clean.
Soon, will be available my own course on how to find proper numbers for the inlay. or you can find some of my CNC files on my website broinwood.com/collections/cnc-files
I would love to do this, but investing in this machine and selling for even half of the price will not have enough buyers in South Africa, I struggle to sell small side grain boards, biggest seller that keeps me alive is my small cheese boards. Is the economy just this great in America to make a living out of this, cause it is incredible.
@@andrewpawson6494 that is great, I am in Cape Town, I am a Civil engineering student running a sideline wood working business from before my studies, but I tend to see a trend in small wood products as gifts and then main line of business being kitchen installations. I do not have V-curve, though I am familiar with autocad. I'm sure I can figure it out. I'll give it a go. June I have time again.
How to find inlay parameters.

Your ability to cut such fine lines without chipout or breakoffs is amazing, you are an amazing machinist as well as an amazing artist!

Absolutely beautiful. While I am relatively new to CNC, this is something that I would strive for. Awesome!

Thank you! I am using AI and Vcarve pro. Also, soon, will be available my own course on how to find proper numbers for the inlay.
How long do you let the glue dry. Before you trim it back to surface height.
Amazing work. What do you use to press the inlays during gluing?
Thank you. I am using a hydraulic press.
Do you have any videos that go over the inlay process in depth? I’m assuming you make the inlay side a % larger and chamfer both sides with the 12 degree bit so everything fits snug?
i am working on an educational video.
Супер, в прочем как и всегда ....
Hi, what cutter did you use for this job?
All bits in the description.
Неизменно крутое качество!!! Приятно смотреть! 👍👍👍
hello dear friend, I love your work they are very beautiful, I am fascinated, what program do you use to design your models? greetings from Chile
thank you! Adobe illustrator.
You use a hydraulic press to glue the inlays, right? It would not be possible to glue the smallest details with just two blows of the hammer.
correct
I am new and want know what brand cnc machine ? and it was very good job .
It is a self-build machine.
@@Broinwood thanks
More lessons from the master. Could we go back to F&S and bits PLEASE..
Thank you! i put it in the description.
Wow Amazing 😎😎😎🤯
When are you going to do a tutorial video? The setup in vectric? I'm having a hard time getting mine even close to your caliber. Please and thank you
soon, will be available my own course on how to find proper numbers for the inlay.
Will definitely love a tutorial on that! My inlays are always hit and miss

Nice work . What is the depth for the small details once Is it 3mm? And what is for the larger piece?
Thank you! for all pieces 6mm.

ive seen people say both you should and should not leave a gap for glue with inlays. can you give an answer? thanks
I am leaving a 0.5mm gap.
Hi nick . What is your cnc name and model plz ?
Hi! It is a self-built machine.

How many board feet of walnut does it take to make your standard size butcher block?
If i did my math right something about 12-13 board feet.
@@Broinwood ok great and thank you!
can u make a video on how to make the files?
How deep are you going with the vbit
6mm

I have the machine and software but not the time. I'm in Springs, Gauteng. Let me know if you are interested.
