I love Ian's account of how Jethro Tull got its name! He is a brilliant, talented, and resourceful man, and one of the greatest musicians, and people, ever.

Ian must have been quite sick of telling the story over and over of how the band came to be called Jethro Tull, but he always handled it with charm and grace. A delightful fellow.

Great ... Mike Douglas .... this was when the talk shows were really talk. He is not hamming it up and trying to usurp all the attention from the guest. Jethro Tull was a great name, there is just something about the sound of it. What a nice interview!

Can Mike let Ian finish a thought without interrupting his flow and changing the subject? Geez! Great post from a great Tull era, though!
