That was a rough day for our community. Lots of classics were completely burned to the ground. I bought a 1921 touring car from a friend where he and his wife lost their home. Fortunately, their shop was not damaged because in the shop was a pre war convertible chevy, a big block el camino and a 1921 touring car. I bought the touring car from him about a year ago. Last month, I ended up selling the touring car to a local person who lost his home too in the Camp Fire. He had a 69 chevelle and a nice harley. He said he found the molten block of the harley. That was it... He plans on putting a 4 banger in the touring car. My son bought a 78 long bed after the fire from a person in Berry Creek about two years ago. The truck was owned by someone in Paradise where every service document was done. Lots of shops up in Paradise worked on the truck. The previous owner parked the truck on his property. My son was lucky enough to purchase the truck. It was sad to go through the service records because most of the shops where the truck was serviced had burnt down. Two years later berry creek was lost to a fire. My son still has the truck.
Damn....wasn't expecting a video to hit home like that!!! After being directly affected by the Paradise fire and seeing so much devastation, definitely brings back memories. Pretty awesome that someone saved a truck and built it to a work of art. And it's ironic that me and my friends use Chemical Guys products!!! Suite build!!!
I am from (and still live in) Paradise, CA. Seeing this truck is a reminder to our town and community that beauty can and will come from disaster. Thank you for covering this truck.
Brings tears of joy to my eyes that you save that Bella piece of art .remember me of Christian the car after she came out of the burning gas station but in a Truck version
So glad you were able to both find some good news from the devastation and able to share it with all of us. Truck is badass. Great coverage. Even better story.
Bro You cooked it on this one. In my opinion everything you touch is Golden for real. Your editing is phenomenal. I believe anything you present adds to your stupendous portfolio. An Artist hands down. Oh and by the way....Nice Truck. Awesome story.
That's my dream truck. Growing up my dad had one and he would always tell me. When you get your drivers license the truck will be yours. Well the truck got stolen out of the parking lot of Grand tire in Covina California, Where he was the manager, Good news is the cops found the truck and returned it to my dad. But I got my learners permit and when my dad found out about it, He put the truck up for sale and sold it to someone. The things that sucks the most about it all is. I don't have any information related to the truck to try to track the truck down, Because right now I would love to just be able to see the truck again and remember all the good times that I had in the truck with my dad doing burns out as a kid, RIP dad if I would have got the truck this is what it would looks like bagged on some bad ass 20inch wheels with a nice sounding V8 under the hood
I've watched this like 5 times dude it's badd as hell the story and character of the build give me ideas 💡 😳 love different ideas in projects thanks man
Let's see, you rescue a burnt truck, restore it, then find some fugly wheels and tires, drop it to the ground so it now looks abandoned and fugly, yeah no
