Something cool is that galvana, the little person balancing on the orb, is the creator of the electric element, or the Wubbox, which it's why the orb looks similar to the Wubbox orb, and it's gloves look like the Wubbox gloves.

Each monster in Celestial Island are also in dawn of fire, but they are grown up like adults on the island called starhenge. Each monster on celestial island represent an element like rock and snow. Each monster also represent a month, which is why there is only 12 monsters on this island. Also, the reason why in the prequel that these guys are adults and in the sequel, the celestials are babies, it’s because, some lore. They died out, and then the monsters had to combine monsters to revive them back again. But they are babies, which is why you need to stuff loads of monsters in each of them, and which is also why you can’t breed them or incubate them

Basically the Lore of the Celestials: The Celestials were born during Natural Disasters and each one reigns over an Element. Scaratar, Vhamp, Plixie, Loodvigg and Syncopite reign over the Ethereals, Galvana reigns over Electricity, Furnoss reigns over Fire and the rest reign over the Naturals. They all came together in a place called Starhenge and the Colossals, the Islands and Gods of the Monster World taught them how to sing. After the Dawn of Fire ended the Continent split up into the Natural Islands and the outer Islands were all sucked into the Prism Gate. Starhenge was now set on a timer and the Celestials had no idea why. It was because the Colossals had imbued their spirits into the parts of the continent to save the Monsters. This resulted in the first 5 Islands we know today. Only Galvana noticed and build a Power Generator called Wubbox that helped the Colossals or now Islands and that gave energy to Starhenge. Eventually the Wubboxs Energy ran out on Starhenge and Starhenge was about to crash onto a Colossal. This Colossal knew where Starhenge would crash from an ancient prophecy and the Wubbox on Starhenge fell down into a storm of Electricity where it regained its power, managed to build its own Colossal and then formed Wublins that replaced his Celestial Friends. When Starhenge crashed the Celestials died and can now be revived with the Monsters that once gave Starhenge power.
Edit: Oh and the Colossals sacrificing themselves does not mean they die, they just fall into a deep slumber and forget everything. They rely on the Coloss-Eyes to wake up again but even then they dont remember things not even how to sing what gave them power and I forgot to mention that the Celestials fell down way later onto the Colossal than Starhenge. They can be reborn there and they also dont remember the things from their past lives

Now that you’ve completed most of the islands, I recommend starting Gold Island. Basically, all you have to do is get any natural monster (including Wubbox, Rare Wubbox and Shugabush) to level 15, go to Gold Island then click place. This will have all your level 15 monsters in, and you can place them on the island. Just do this with loads of natural monsters.
Edit: Also, Seasonals can go on it.
Fun fact: Hornacle gets jumpscared by Attmoz and that’s why he jumped when Attmoz started playing

You should get into the habit of reading the monster bios because you'll learn a lot about the monster world just by doing this. The Celestials are the Monster world equivalent of gods. You don't need to be a long time player to know these kinds of things, just any player who reads the bios can get a pretty decent overall understanding of the lore.
Some other bios to read would be Island bios which can be found in the "Information" tab on any island.
Knew you’d love this one. The precursor (Starhenge) in DOF is the best MSM island and I look forward to your reaction in a year.

Fun Fact: Each Celestial represents a birth month! Hornacle represents the month of January, Furnoss represents the month of February, Glaishur represents March, and so on and so fourth. If you're curious on what months the others represent, you should be able to find it fairly easily on the MSM Wiki!
Although be careful! If you look up the monster, it may spoil their appearance in Dawn Of Fire!

All the celestials represent an element and a month, along with a constellation (which become more prominent in dawn of fire.) thats why every month, one of the celestials is on a sale. here are their matching months & elements:

Yeah the celestials are gods, they all have complete control over their element, something happens in the continent, which caused Starhenge to fall, and it landed in a colossal. The celestials turned themselves into stone to preserve their power. Which is why they seem so young

So basically, the celestials represent elements. There are 12 celestials. Hundreds of years ago, in dawn of fire, they lived on a floating island called "starhenge". Then starhenge crashed and all the celestials died. After starhenge crashed, it became "Celestial island". The celestials become young because in their previous life, they were old and they died and became statues and you have to revive the statues and they become babies
Actually, the celestials represent all elements: Glashure is Cold, syncopite is Crystal, Loodvigg is Shadow, blasoom is plant, etc.
Fun fact for legacy Each of the celestial’s are actually based on one element and are the master of that element for example the hornicale is the master of water
