SB19 needs to be an official ambassador for the Department of Tourism Philippines!!! They definitely represent the Philippines so well in this video and in everything that they do! Their goal has always been to raise the Filipino flag all over the world through demonstrating true Filipino talent, the Filipino culture, the Filipino language, and Filipino music. And now they are promoting iconic Filipino landmarks and local Filipino traditional clothing. SB19 has literally redefined what P-Pop is and they have given it so much life. SB19 has said so many times that what they are presenting is new and fresh and that they want to break into the Filipino music industry. And they have done exactly that, and continue to do so. I hope that as SB19 gains more recognition internationally, that Filipinos also take pride in what I consider to be one of the national treasures of the Philippines. As I've said before, SB19 is NOT a K-Pop group, they are a P-POP group and if they don't seem to be fitting K-Pop idol beauty standards, that's because they were never trying to conform to and abide by those standards. Honestly they have created their own standards and have set the bar so high for the P-Pop industry. And clearly SB19 is not trying to copy K-Pop, because as shown in this video, they are advocating for the culture and uniqueness of the Philippines. For international a'tin!! Here's a short trivia. First place is the National Museum of the Philippines. It's a museum where historic artworks were displayed. Most artworks are 100+ years old. 2nd place is Rizal Park. The monument at their back is Jose Rizal. He is Filipino's national hero. His remains were also buried there. Casuals can't go closer to that monument hence the guards standing beside it. Permit is needed just to be close to that monument. SB19 must be really something that they allowed them to perform close to that historic monument. Ppop kings indeed. 💙

This is possible, if Mnet bring backs their Best Asian Artist Philippines Award. As far as I remember they have that award and the last one who have won it is Sarah G last 2016 but after that, they stopped giving that award and I dont know why. So I hope they bring back that award now and obviously SB19 has 100% chance to win it. They announced the nominees recently but the nominees in special categories aren't yet so I hope SB19 will win even one special award.

With that video, those boys should be considered for DOT's campaign for travelling in the new normal. Sa tingin ko, papatok sila tulad ng "Tara na, biyahe tayo!" ni Regine V. Their song "Go Up" is very apt, especially now that many Filipinos are trying to keep afloat in the pandemic and the recent disaster.

You are right. I remember being impress by them when I first got to see them and heard them speak. Tagalog po rarely English or sa karamihan dyan na taglish. I was so Happy because in the Philippine entertainment industry it has become so westernized and most actors and artists that are really popular speak as if English is their first language. And the boys can’t from really working class background and that in Itself make them so relatable so I knew even then that lalabas din ang pagkapinoy nila and I am so glad that they are in an entertainment company that allows them so much creative input and control. They are approaching it right by focusing on the Philippines and their pinoy fans. I know many Pinoys are crazy kpop fans but I think when all is said and done they will get attracted sa pagka patriotic ng sb19 and they are as seen now garnering many fans. And so happy that they do not all have the features of Korean k pop artists. They all look so uniquely beautiful and that makes me so happy.
I really don’t understand people saying they’re copycats, but in fact they are trained by a Korean Trainers in a Korean Company based in the Philippines with the standard for K-pop idols. This is exactly what I have felt when I did #SB19Marathon recently, especially when I watched their interviews where they confessed their experiences throughout their entire journey before reaching thousands of audiences and being nominated in BBMA. Noon, masaya na sila sa pito, sampu, at benteng mga nanonood sa kanilang mall shows, pero ngayon, milyon-milyon na ang sumusuporta sa kanila, hindi lang mga Pilipino, maging ibang lahi. The 'WHAT?' MV and the collaboration with BEN'N'BEN for the song "MAPA band version" had introduced me to SB19, but it is not exactly the same time that I have started supporting them. Before, sabi ko baka K-POP wanna be lang din sila. But as I continue my #SB19Marathon, I felt guilty that I quickly judged them without knowing their stories. Ngayon, isa na ako sa mga umiiyak, natutuwa, at tumatalon sa saya kapag pinapanood ang bawat performances nila. To all their doubters, detractors, haters, or kung anuman tawag n'yo sa sarili n'yo, you are not aware of the struggles our boys had gone through. Don't ever compare them to other groups, locally and internationally. SB19 is SB19. And just accept the fact that they are unstoppable. For everyone's information, SB19 write their own songs, choreograph most of their dance performances and contributes to the creative direction of their MVS and concerts. Indeed, they are not P-POP Kings for nothing. Worldclass talent. #PPOPrise #SB19 But more than that, what makes me stan them harder is their attitude. They are very natural, grounded and relatable. For intl A'tin SB19 shots the video on some historical places in the Phil. One is the Luneta Park the one with Guards guarding the monument. Its where our National Hero Jose Rizal died and the other one is the National Museum. SB19 needs to be an official ambassador for the Department of Tourism Philippines!!! They definitely represent the Philippines so well in this video and in everything that they do! Their goal has always been to raise the Filipino flag all over the world through demonstrating true Filipino talent, the Filipino culture, the Filipino language, and Filipino music. And now they are promoting iconic Filipino landmarks and local Filipino traditional clothing. SB19 has literally redefined what P-Pop is and they have given it so much life. SB19 has said so many times that what they are presenting is new and fresh and that they want to break into the Filipino music industry. And they have done exactly that, and continue to do so. I hope that as SB19 gains more recognition internationally, that Filipinos also take pride in what I consider to be one of the national treasures of the Philippines. As I've said before, SB19 is NOT a K-Pop group, they are a P-POP group and if they don't seem to be fitting K-Pop idol beauty standards, that's because they were never trying to conform to and abide by those standards. Honestly they have created their own standards and have set the bar so high for the P-Pop industry. And clearly SB19 is not trying to copy K-Pop, because as shown in this video, they are advocating for the culture and uniqueness of the Philippines. SB19 truly are our P-Pop kings and they are surely going nowhere but up!!!

For international a'tin!! Here's a short trivia.
First place is the National Museum of the Philippines. It's a museum where historic artworks were displayed. Most artworks are 100+ years old.
2nd place is Rizal Park. The monument at their back is Jose Rizal. He is Filipino's national hero. His remains were also buried there. Casuals can't go closer to that monument hence the guards standing beside it. Permit is needed just to be close to that monument. SB19 must be really something that they allowed them to perform close to that historic monument. Ppop kings indeed. 💙

Happy because in the Philippine entertainment industry it has become so westernized and most actors and artists that are really popular speak as if English is their first language. And the boys can’t from really working class background and that in Itself make them so relatable so I knew even then that lalabas din ang pagkapinoy nila and I am so glad that they are in an entertainment company that allows them so much creative input and control. They are approaching it right by focusing on the Philippines and their pinoy fans. I know many Pinoys are crazy kpop fans but I think when all is said and done they will get attracted sa pagka patriotic ng sb19 and they are as seen now garnering many fans. And so happy that they do not all have the features of Korean k pop artists. They all look so uniquely beautiful and that makes me so happy.
I really don’t understand people saying they’re copycats, but in fact they are trained by a Korean Trainers in a Korean Company based in the Philippines with the standard for K-pop idols. They are not copying but rather they are embarking their journey as a group with the standard training that a Kpop idol had. They should stop sleeping and hating on them😩

This is exactly what I have felt when I did #SB19Marathon recently, especially when I watched their interviews where they confessed their experiences throughout their entire journey before reaching thousands of audiences and being nominated in BBMA.
Noon, masaya na sila sa pito, sampu, at benteng mga nanonood sa kanilang mall shows, pero ngayon, milyon-milyon na ang sumusuporta sa kanila, hindi lang mga Pilipino, maging ibang lahi.
The 'WHAT?' MV and the collaboration with BEN'N'BEN for the song "MAPA band version" had introduced me to SB19, but it is not exactly the same time that I have started supporting them.
Before, sabi ko baka K-POP wanna be lang din sila. But as I continue my #SB19Marathon, I felt guilty that I quickly judged them without knowing their stories.
Ngayon, isa na ako sa mga umiiyak, natutuwa, at tumatalon sa saya kapag pinapanood ang bawat performances nila.
To all their doubters, detractors, haters, or kung anuman tawag n'yo sa sarili n'yo, you are not aware of the struggles our boys had gone through. Don't ever compare them to other groups, locally and internationally. SB19 is SB19. And just accept the fact that they are unstoppable.
For everyone's information, SB19 write their own songs, choreograph most of their dance performances and contributes to the creative direction of their MVS and
concerts. Indeed, they are not P-POP Kings for nothing.

But more than that, what makes me stan them harder is their attitude. They are very natural, grounded and relatable. You can always feel the sincerity every time they speak, as well as their humor.
SB19 inspires me to do better everyday and their stories had convinced to not give up on every dream that I have. Because if we believe in ourselves, we will always GO nowhere, but UP.

For intl A'tin SB19 shots the video on some historical places in the Phil. One is the Luneta Park the one with Guards guarding the monument. Its where our National Hero Jose Rizal died and the other one is the National Museum.
Plus SB19 is wearing traditional yet modernised clothes weaved by our Local weavers ftom Mindanao inspired by Tausug, Maguindanao fabrics.
