Frankly, you NEVER know when life will show up. I don't run out to get a paper from a vending machine, without dressing, and daytime makeup. Though i see plenty of tragic examples that DON'T. SAD but not my problem. Takes 5 min. Big whoop.
My ex used to make fun of this "vanity"...he said...but living beautifully isn't ALWAYS ABOUT MONEY. IT'S EFFORT.
He's also my ex. One SHOULD be appreciated, NOT made to feel lesser, for something hardly serious or earth shattering...Sadly, "i am better than you" became HIS theme about EVERYTHING... .
He absolutely never understood that i did it FOR ME. MY good opinion of myself, of HOW I saw myself. YOU CREATE THAT. Others merely confirm that. Whether it's personal grooming, or steaming or delinting a jacket. Doesn't cost money (since we didn't HAVE any)... I did it myself. Including my haircut...
These people made the effort. So, yeah, applaud them. They make life prettier for ALL of us. But one of them could be you...

That's because in the U.K. the food is AWFUL coupled with the fact that in London you have to WALK a lot. Walking + Not eating much = skinny.
