Yes to a folding table! One of my favorite things now is setting up a folding table for extra food prep during Thanksgiving. Then I keep it up the whole weekend for a place family can do puzzles or I can use as a "drop zone" when I'm doing Christmas shopping or decorating. And, you're right. I was surprised how much I use my little silverware caddy from Hobby Lobby. It's white so it goes with everything. I've been thinking of cloth napkins, so you might have inspired me to get some!
Wow! What a great way to make that table work hard during the holidays. I love the idea of a drop zone. I think that also harkens to your organizational style. I'm a piles person so that would likely work well for me. Yes! I grew up with cloth napkins and have loved them ever since. Like I said, I still use paper sometimes, but cloth feel special.
