Push to connect refrigerant fittings. A solution in search of a problem. Zoomlock, “how can we make it even easier for fly by night hacks to make messes for legit companies to fix?”
i have been using them ever since they did my jaw trade they are amazing i have used the rls and the orings where not that impressive i would like to say when parkers orings never had an issue
I’ve never personally installed one myself. But I’ve run across a couple that were leaking, so I’m kind of skeptical about them. It might’ve just been the install, but just not sure about these. What is your opinion?
Tubing Prep is the key "Tubing Prep is the key"! Have had no issues so far with "OG" Zoomlock press and optimized 410a push. Have not used Zoomlock max.
I've used the push fitting twice. First time on my own heap pump to try out and test. It's been problem free for since install (3 years ago), and I live in a cold climate. Second time on an install that could not braze. Prep is key.

I don't think I would use that I gwt it it's safer but I much rather have a braze joint just be careful when brazing that's all 😊😊

I wonder if they are vacuum rated, I mean the push fittings.
For the price of the fittings jaws and tool
I think 15 years is too low of a warranty.
