BYAC Press Forward Creative Project - I Want Something

Trainees of the Barbados YouthADVANCE Corps in the NTI Advance Initiative (NTI-AI), showcased their skills, passions and artistry in the creation of 2 project videos to promote the NTI Press Forward campaign. The BYAC trainees created all content, and filmed, directed and acted in the videos under the guidance and instruction of NTI partner TAPP Digital Incorporated aka TAPP New Media. The project showcase which was done during the Technical and Creative Career Demonstration was the first experience in a series of career tours and demonstrations designed to expose the trainees to various careers in different sectors. The NTI in collaboration with BYAC has also arranged for the career demonstration partners to offer job attachments to interested trainees upon completion of their Technical Vocational training. The promotional videos were created in just one 2-hour session and highlight the range of talents and creativity harnessed within our Barbadian youth. This video entitled "I want something" demonstrates how one young lady encourages a group of young males on the block to press forward in their lives by joining the Barbados YouthADVANCE Corps where they will get an opportunity to make some positive changes.
