I’ll give you the story of Mr. Jones. He was The singer of counting crows’a friend from the story named Marty Jones, who was the bass player in one of his old bands before counting crows. Marty Jones’ father was a famous flamenco guitarist from the USA who was popular in Spain apparently. The Marty Jones (Mr. Jones) and Adam Duritz (singer of counting crows) went to a bar called the new Amsterdam to watch Marty’s dad perform and the next day Adam wrote the song of what transpired

The first female singer (Clair?) sang on axis to the mic, while Amy approached it from the side. Amy's voice would have disappeared completely with my hypercardiod Audix OM7. Apparently, this Nexadyne mic is much more forgiving in that respect. By the way, the soft and feathery quality of Clair's singing voice is very appealing for my taste.

Nope. Stuff a 57/58 in a bunch of dirty socks. Sing into it. That is this mic. Good singers, the ladies did great. You were pleasant as always. The mic just isn’t good. Good enough for a garage punk band sure. Yes Im using studio monitors. Its just not a good mic. Shure, you can do better, we expect better from you.
