- The first ever built GT-R under went 3 months of updating. The interior was finally finished, including inner door covers (door cards), new carpet, center tunnel, touch screen stereo, headliner, door sills, and cup holders.
The exhaust was rerouted through a carbon fiber trim piece, a bumper delete panel was fabricated, the lower door gap was closed up, rear hinges with gas struts were added, door poppers, forward facing camera and a front tow hook. The wheels were also powder coated satin black, calipers painted red and the whole car repainted. A Racetronics Traction Control system was also added.
All of the things I have been wanting to do for years, all for the GT-R's new owner. - Авто/Мото
The cheaper way to GT ownership and I love it .
Wow, that's a lot of work you did. Looks like a great car!
Thanks!
Please post more content!!! Love the videos and your work!!!
Man, that car has come a long way since you originally built it. The interior is fantastic, nothing like you'd expect from a component car. The reinforcement you put on the tail made a big difference in flexing, one handed is awesome!
Very nice ride. Great job.
Allan, I saw a red SL-C here in Delaware 2 years ago at a local car meat. That car was like something from another universe! You guys make great cars there!
The new owners have got to be happy with all the work and your skills you have used, to do these mods for them.
This looks great! Love this GTR over the SLC for sure.
The 5.2 Aluminator would be a perfect engine for this. Superlite should make a parts kit for that specifically.
Just finished one with a Coyote and a Whipple Supercharger
Such a beautiful car. You build the most amazing GT-R'S I've ever seen. I'm more than shocked we don't see more GT-R's around. For what you get vs price even having it built is incredible. It can be built to exceed any hypercar out there. The first car to hit 300mph in the standing mile wasn't a twin turbo Lamborghini or any of the other hypermod cars. Nope, it was an 06 Ford GT with custom design Ohlins shocks because the downforce exceeding 260 or something was forcing the suspension onto the bump stops regardless of (driveable) spring rate. The engine was the OE 5.4 twin turbocharged that was beyond overtaxed needing a rebuild every 6? runs. Pushing 3000hp out of a 5.4 will do that lol. An aluminum big block Ford with Kaase heads would have easily been up to the task.
Anyway, the simple fact is that out of everything attempting to hit the 300mph mark in one mile, an older body Ford was the only one even close. In a field riddled with twin turbo Huracans, R8s, Corvettes, and anything else available until 2018, that body proved it's worth. Even competing against higher HP AWD hypercars with legit hyperpower.
However, you will need custom suspension and a 3000+ hp mill to duplicate it lol.
Thanks for the great info, the potential is amazing for these cars.
You should sell the upgrades you make for these kits. I think a lot of people would be interested in purchasing them.
Especially the cup holders. 😆
Without a doubt great upgrades to a more production looking but personal car.
This car is absolutely gorgeous
Lovely job. Superb upgrades and attention to detail, as always. I'm assuming this is your own car.
In the details is the magic
Great Job as always Allan! It was beautiful before and you made it even better!
Very nice modifications !!!
Man your work is incredible. If someone paid enough could you put a dual clutch in? Paddle shifters?
Yes, there are two ways to do it. Either with a paddle shifting modification to the Graziano or by uses a PDK trans-axle.
Putting an LS in this car is even cooler than putting an LS into a cobra. Soon, every vehicle will have LS power and everything will be right in the universe.
I see that this car is now for sale. Is there a "buy it now" price? I would prefer not to go through auction
The owner of this car has it up for sale, I can forward his email address if you'd like
@@zakari3030 yes please
JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH I CAN PICK ONE UP FOR
How much do you charge to build for customers?
What would you charge to put together a Grullon GT8ss? (Specs being: Automatic and somewhere around 450hp-500hp.. Trying to see if this build could compete vs the c8 corvettes for price/performance)
I'd estimate $55K
it would be cool to see one of these bulit with the ford 5.2 voodoo motor
What kind of backup mirror cameras do you use?
Next one i would flush the rear view camera into the carbon fibre trim around the exhaust
I am a Left Leg Below the Knee Amputee and I was wondering is there a DCT Type Trans for a Mid-Engine Set Up Available?...I am Just Saying!...Thanks and God Bless America! 😇
Hi David, very soon there will be a Porsche PDK transaxle available for our mid engine cars. It is basically Porsche's version of the DCT trans. and will be fully automatic, have paddle shift and traction control built in. Can't go over 550 hp though. Take care and stay safe.
@@zakari3030...Ok!...That Sounds Great!...But could that Porsche Transaxle be Beefed Up/Modified to take MORE HP?...The FORD N/A 5.2L Predator Engine puts out 580HP Stock!...I am Just Saying!...God Bless America! 😇
BTW!...Do you have any Performance Specs of your 525HP GT-R?...Also the 2015 thru 2020 FORD Shelby GT350 VooDoo Engine puts out 526HP!...I am Just Saying!
Will a GT-R like this appreciate in value at all like the Ford GT's, or will these always depreciate?
Buy it and find out. There is a saying “ don’t buy a car for appreciation, buy it because you want it and want to drive it”.
I think your work is fantastic. Do you have build videos for the GT-R like the SLCs?
Beautiful, love the videos
Beautiful! I love that you went for the classic 2006 gt interior style and not the raw gutted look. About how much do you have invested into this car?
Are you a builder? Have you worked on anything from factory five racing?
Do the windows work on any of the so cars?
I would really like to know how long it takes you to complete one if your builds. I really enjoy seeing the quality of your work once they are done.
What kit company are you using for the build? I'd like to build one of these myself.
Superlite
isnt this baby for sale? i seen it somewhere online
Do you have any contact info about having my slc built by you?
Love love love!
Nice build, do you also build Factory Five GTM's?
I have built 3 GTM's, and a FFR Cobra.
What brand is the video mirror?
You should do a SLC with a w140 s600 v12 Mercedes Engine, the engine was used by Pagani.
I guess it's too complicated. Besides they used a modified version of that engine. So my guess it's better to stick with LS or whatever they use.
As usual, Great work Allan! Is that an LT5 SLC in the background?
Finally. Been a minute
What’s the name of your company?
You mentioned in a previous video you had hoped Chevvy would make the c8 drive train available. You know that the gearbox is available? It's the Tremec TR-9080 8 speed DCT www.tremec.com/anexos/TR-9080.DCT_product.sheet.pdf
Gary Moncrieff I contacted teemed. They aren’t selling it to the public.
@@jamesdellaneve9005 Tremec don't sell to public directly but to distributors, try phoning one of those.
Wts the cost PLZZ reply
Are any of you GT replicas Ford powered?
Currently building one with a Coyote engine and Whipple Supercharger
@@zakari3030 Cool
Should race a real GT for comparison.
LOL!
@@dragonfly492 I think it would do good. I mean it's just a kit car. Like any other car your pockets are the limitations on power.
I stopped when you said LS... lol
I understand, how's this one? ruclips.net/video/wpW9uovu2Kg/видео.html
