- After a failed attempt earlier in the day, the SpaceX team successfully launches and lands the Starship SN10 rocket in Boca Chica, Texas. A little while later, the SN10 rocket did indeed explode on the landing pad.

Some of the footage does look fake. I thought I was the only one. My brain tells me the same Harry Houghton. Is there a new type of camera that does this effect to the footage or is our brain warning us?

@@Mastadeadly you know tracking cameras do exist right
@@Mastadeadly To be clear I really can't tell if it's nice camera tracking, with panning and zooming and adaptive focus, which does exist, or CGI, the camera angles don't make it seem off to me, what makes it seem off to me is how uniform and.. I guess fake would be the word for it, the camera *shaking* seems to be. Idk it just seems to me like cameras able to auto focus and track like that would be secure enough to maybe only jostle when the shockwave of the engines re-ingnite rather than uniformly shivering the whole time like an action scene of a movie.

Very beautiful to watch humanity move forward in space flight!! There was a fuel/engine 2 problem which can be clearly seen upon accent. Beautiful controlled aerodynamic descent and vertical landing even with the fuel/engine problem.
"On a vehicle with multiple engines, if 8 out of 9 lit but one was just dumping un-lit propellant out the end, the fire from the others would ignite that propellant. The fire would then travel up into the engine where it would create a massive pressure spike".
Hopefully they have enough information from this test to work this problem out... the computer identified an issue before lift-off which is a big plus. Looking forward to seeing the future of this amazing engineering feat!

Welcome back captain Olimar
Safe to say the starship team can now focus on landing leg design. The current legs just aren't enough to support various landing types seeing as they failed here which led to the explosion afterwards. Vehicle structure was likely compromised after that bounce.

What the F is this? Are they saying this is real? No wonder people are saying space is being faked....this is pathetic and questions need to be asked.
Agreed
absolutely incredible
Had me there for a minute. But this is a very well done simulation. No way you could capture a video or film of the closeup of the vehicle in space...
its not in space...
it's not a simulation. the ship didnt go to space, it went only a couple miles up for a test flight.
It's not even in space, it was a 10-15km test flight, and no it isn't a simulation, you literally can go in Starbase in person and see Starship develpment and launches by yourself ; there is also hundreads of big/smalls channels that film starship development daily, and even if it was a test in space, you could still see Starship due to his height, and if you have good tracking devices and had onboard camera inside it and if you use your brain in a good way, you could easily see it.
Im shocked by how many people think literally everything about rocket is fake, no matter what, they literally pray and beg that it is fake.
It still exploded, you just cut the video before it happened.
yeah that sucks, explosions like that are cool I would have liked to see it too. I think they should symbolically explode each rocket after testing until it's gotten to the point where it really worth keeping them. They make their own metals so they can easily just pick up the scraps and reforge them.
