On May 11 I purchased the 4” Dr.Slick scissor clamps.I could not open or close them except with two hands & a lot of pressure.I got my buddy to try them & he got the same result. So I returned them.
Thicker the braid the easier it is to cut. Guarantee those can’t cut my 6 pound ice fishing braid 😂 I would like to check those out btw they look cool. nice review!!
Totally unrelated Random question...Why hasn't Permaculture: A Designers Manual been reprinted or republished by someone else?? It seems strange that so many people try to spread Permaculture yet it's 'Bible' costs $150-400 used !!
This now is the most unrelated to a video question I have ever answered, not been asked but been willing to answer. Here is why I would say.... If you look at the PDM it is an incredible book and likely expensive as fuck to print, I am betting the publishers cost to print it would be about 50-80 dollars a copy to print it alone. Then there is shipping, etc. Translation to make it worth the risk to print and sell you'd need to get say 120 each out of it. If you go print on demand I bet the damn thing will cost the publisher 120 a copy or more just to print and deliver. Adding to it, it is well still under copy write law protections (90+ years) so not open source so the copy write holder (Bill's Heirs would have to let someone else do it or take the risk themselves), I have no knowledge about that state of affairs. I personally think the best thing for Permaculture would be for it to be made open source, but I don't get to make that call. I have also spoken directly to one of Bill's grandchildren and know there is basically a "room full or unpublished writings" by Bill. I do hope they become public some day.
I have several they are milti useful, strong, and work on a multitude of knots. Great review, God bless.
