I've got a game where a good team beat me i'll upload it hopefully you'll get some more tips but just note mate, solo que is really hard. even i struggle playing with low levels against a average demon. if you find good players you win games with just add them and build up a friend list with survivor you can win with. when you get a 4 man stack who can all play their roles you'll realise how much easier it is
This is a MASSIVE thing I'm going to pick up from this video - when fighting for objective, gotta place portals as traps instead of just activating them. I didn't think of it and I honestly feel stupid for it. But hey, thank you so much for the educational content! :3
@@MerrStudio For other demons I wouldn’t really bother but for Baal, you would want to cause he can majorly increase the fear level of survivors when they trip a trap and he has a passive that marks survivors so they take increased damage when they trigger traps
Just remember only Baals trap portal will activate the same as a normal trap, any other demon they just casually walk out the portal *unless they've changed it*
I stopped playing months ago before they released the splatter royale mode but after watching your Baal gameplay…. I’m thinking about returning to the game and using my Puppeteer to farm up to max Baal out to wreak havoc once again on survivors. Had they not screwed up the prestige system, I would’ve never stopped playing.

When they released the update back last year it introduced the prestige system with insane high number count challenges which made it extremely discouraging to invest time into prestiging characters due to the small amount of points you earn at the end of a match and each time you increase your account level would mean you had to choose who you was going to prestige because it took so many games to accumulate enough points just to pay to skip 1 challenge from the multiple challenges at each prestige and some of the challenges were worth the grind but many others we all knew we would pay to skip. Now since after they gathered community feedback and added a new permanent feature to reward players double the points after a match and 30% more points per account level and lowered some of the ridiculous number requirements for certain prestige challenges to complete, it’s now the best time to join in and look forward to the characters you wanna grind up to prestige 5. I am a Demon main, so for me it’s a bit easier on the challenges plus Demons are the best way to farm points. Survivors are still a bit more grindier on their challenges, especially for some of their challenges bcuz some matches you play as a survivor you might not kill the boss or a specific challenge that is required and if you get matched up against a prestige Demon or a seasoned veteran Demon that is max Lvl 45, the game could be over in a matter of minutes. I just returned playing yesterday and still able to clear out an entire team within the first 10 minutes or stop them from reaching the Dark Ones boss fight. I rarely lose matches but their are alot of really good players still playing survivor, so if you happen to prefer playing with ppl and don’t mind losing to become a better survivor and learn how Demons play using their tactics, habits and learning how to counter each Demon you go up against, you’ll definitely enjoy the game and become a survivor that Demons might back out of lobbies when they see. I like to play crossplay and stay in all lobbies whether I know it’s a 4 man, 3 man or 2 man groups because since I been playing from launch day, survivor players have taught me so much that it has made me a better Demon player and those rare occasions when I feel like playing survivor, it has helped me win matches and counter Demon strategies. I hope you have fun with the game and give it some time to grow on you but you won’t have any fun until you max out a few survivors and get you a build from youtube channels that breakdown to help you pick a playstyle that suits you or if you play Demon learn the maps, how to pick a location further away from you at the start of the match to get lucky and find the survivors at the start of the match before they loot up to become strong and always set traps and collect souls as you traverse the map and when you get Demon Lvl 3 put 1 point on basic portal and Lvl 4 put 1 point on Elite portal so whenever you almost full soul bar you can spawn a unit to gain XP and not passing souls uncollected wasting potential XP to farm for Level ups. Also at Lvl 1 or 2 not sure put 1 point on Traps so you can put a little fear on survivors. It’s many more tips but I’ve already wrote too much 😂. I have been playing survivor for now because for me it seemed alot less intimidating because you have 3 other teammates with you but I do want to play demon as well very soon. It has been very fun so far even though I get destroyed in most of my matches ^^
@@DanGleebals57 Lol that’s how I felt as a beginner playing survivor but overtime I tried out Demon and it just was really fun but also lonely due to no communication with other players over comms but the fun factor playing Demon keeps me coming back. You’re welcome and yeah Demon will be a slug until you reach Lvl 45 then you will see the dramatic changes in your gameplay from now up to that point.
Loving the videos man. I liked your survivor video. You should try using leader ash with high fear resist. Turns Baal into complete weak sauce when he struggles to get the fear stacked
My favorite part about the kandarian demon is the basic units although I wish you could place more or a game mode where you command an army and 10 survivors plus maybe a few ai would have to defeat the kandarian demon and protect the necronomicon from the demon and the demon would have to get the book before the timer ran out
Balance... That demon are a bit of a misunderstanding compared to old ones. When we play with friends, we so happy seeing old deamons. Gameplay give more fun and when we lose we know we fuck up. When we see Baal just give up on the start. Wasting time and nerves.
Also i dont spawn basics anymore use proxy just put in fron of the survivors as they go it marks them and if u have portal authority and cheap traps its like 30 infernal to place a proxy

for sure can work but you need to make sure a team mates are also finding decent loot and that you're looting the area quick where map pieces are.. if the demon catches you though you can be in extreme trouble unless you evade perfectly!
So with the reduced number of cars and how fast Baal can move by dumping traps and portals everywhere, is the only effective strategy to reach book phase to rush all 3 pieces, skip all looting and fighting, and hit the nearest objective ASAP with the first melee/ranged weapon you find? Hopefully collect some Pink F on the way to objective 2?
It could work but if you're low on colas and can't dodge well then you'll end up needing a lot more colas and will struggle on 2nd objective, the two times i've lost has been with brock and william family members, although if you pre pick a counter to baal and then the demon player picks someone else.. could be even worse
Baal is not op In fact his base dmg is more of a low-medium. What he does have is multipliers. He gets his dmg by having high fear and the mark placed by traps. And his proximity portals unlike other demons are actually traps he has too stack both of those to do high dmg otherwise his dmg will be a little lacking. That is why the book is almost impossible for him. You can not give the book fear or a stack. All he would need is a minor tweak to book dmg, and he would be good. The other demons, the starting 3 needs a bit of a rewor, though they are kinda boring compared to the witch and baal.
Unfortunately Baal is soooo weak. His units have literally only 50 health or something like that, they are soooo weak damn. That's one hit. Baal pretty balanced in my opinion
Idk if its just me but is Baal bugged on PS4? I never heal or get the heart icon above me when I pull out Baal, I have the same build as Middi too so idk why the heals aren't happening 🤔
Your other Evil Dead video has randomly popped up on my main page few days ago, I have watched all your videos since and I decided to give the game a try. Unfortunately I immediately started to understand why this game is awful for newer players (that's what you see a lot in the reviews) and I just refunded it. It's such a shame, game feels like a huge fun pontential but I'm not gonna bother going through hundreds of hours of grind just to have a remotely even field against prestige 4-5 players I ran into every match.
Yeah quite harsh on new players, they should of been put into a que with other low level people to atleast get the hang of it because against someone who knows what they're doing it'll be impossible

I’m sorry but Baal is the worst demon. Period. I’ve tried so many builds and none work. He’s terrible at book phase. With Brock on a team with a Cheryl or Sash he’s even more useless
thats true he's not good if you get counter picked but if i know im going against sweats i will counter pick and go something else which messes up their game just by their survivor picks
Gotta say that devs might wanna tone down Baal a little, while I own him myself, I don't want to play him because he is just too strong. I'll stick with other demons until then.
Considering how long it took them with Ruby and I think that probably the best way to counter him may be Brock with the Williams Family. He is fairly balanced depending on if you know what you're doing cause while his early and mid-game is super powerful his end game is the weakest I have ever seen. You basically do Baby Damage to the Book and the Survivors can get the Dark Ones destroyed fairly quickly before you can get one.
He's super slow I literally sprinted away until half my stamina meter was down let it refill a bit then kept sprinting u can literally outrun him to a car. He ain't all that if u know how to play

This is almost exactly my build. I win most games though granted 60% of the time people dc as soon as I make them walk into a trap.

Regarding map choice, I remember when they introduced 3rd map I almost never got the big map, but nowadays it's almost all the time.

No they stay there forever from what i've seen until someone walks into them, sometimes it's good to place some on book
With the proxy u can drop 7 portals and baal at same time at book people sleeping on his book game
I ran Pablo yesterday I think the rush is good agiants baal try and avoid the early game for baal

Demon can still see the aura of the car if he's at a distance or open map and see the car moving so it does work but you've gotta be careful

everytime you prestidge you'll get 1 extra skill point to use, so if you get max prestidge then its 5

practice splatter royale and pick leader/warrior because hunters and supports are the hardest to play if you're starting
