Thank you for the video. Hope you and the girls are well and staying safe.
There it is .... I'm so glad you made this into a separate video. Wanted to try my hand at it when you showed your kids on the Quarantine videos. I see the tube set star earrings are also a separate video now too. Whew! So happy. I bought the products from Halstead - then ... well, now I know where to go to find out.
Yay, I am so glad. I hope you will show me what you make.
@@MelissaMuir Definitely... just finishing up the chain link bracelet. Gosh, if everything is this hard ... well, I'll keep at it. Someday ......
Babette Knudsen Cox I was going to shoot you a message today to ask how you were doing on that and the time got away from me. You are on your way my friend. Coming soon, things will click and you will be on your way. ❤️
I love the simplicity of these Melissa. Just made a pair today. Thanks!!
Susan Wade that is awesome.
Great job on the video Melissa and nice earrings 👍
Great quick video. I'm fascinated with what you're soldering on; it's so smooth and doesn't look like the standard soldering blocks we use.
Julie Teeples this is what I used in the video www.micro-tools.com/products/004-570?aff=8
Those earrings are so cute!
cosmiccallahan Thank you. You should come over and make a pair.

Great video thanks. Have not watched any in lockdown as I found it difficult to watch with your kids there.
Gillian Sprott Yes, those videos were a totally different format and meant for me to teach my girls. I just allowed others to watch if they wished to get the information. Glad you are still here for the other format though.
Love it . So easy I will try to do it thank you
naglaa seoudy I love tube setting for the fact that it can be really simple. Good luck and happy soldering.

Darling Garcia Thank you. And I saw your pre-order come in. Thanks for your support.

Hi Melissa
Can you do other stone setting book for Alan revere
Thanks
God bless
Melissa, can you tell me what type of hand torch you are using?
Is the 12 gauge wire square wire or round which you flattened?
Deborah Fallon it is Square. But you could flatten it or even just use round for a different look.
Melissa Muir did you flatten the wire on your mill?
Very cute earrings, Melissa! I like Halstead, but they require a minimum order of at least $100. A total bummer. :-(
Tamara Adams they lowered it to $50. And if you are interested in something , let me know. If you are thinking of getting the punches, I can add it to your order
can these be used for flat back cabochons, too? Or what bur do you recommend for creating a seat for a cabochon in tubing that you cut from stock?
Sa B Yes, they can be, though sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get them to seat properly. And depending on the dome of your cab, you might not be able to use the same punches.
@@MelissaMuir thank you, I wondered about using punches with cabs, I've used them with faceted stones, but worried about the dome being cut by the punch. And when I've tried putting small cabs into tubing that I've cut, they tend to flop. Your tutorials are wonderful, and these earrings are darling. I'm inspired to try this with some faceted stones and tubing that I have on hand. Thank you!
