My question is my innovative motor sports ecb1 didn’t come with the two in one which is the connector that connects to the sensor and the other cable, just has the sensor and conector to sensor which leads to the gauge only do I need that not sure why I would? Thanks ?
We will use the wideband and AFR readings to determine Ethanol content and cross check with the gauge. This will be used for the tuning process. The Cobb software for the evo doesn't support this, but we only need the afr which is essentially how the Cobb will receive and use this data.
I dont understand how you are doing flex fuel on cobb... what you said about just needing AFR would make sense if you were going e85 only map, not flex fuel, because you could tune the afr in cobb to reflect the difference with e85. How will cobb change the tune or compensate for changes in ethanol content?
@@JonnyBarajas thanks man. Also is the wire you’re connecting at 3:50? www.racetronix.biz/p/flex-fuel-sensor-maf-adapter-16/mafg7-e85?dfw_tracker=58263-MAFG7-E85&gclid=Cj0KCQiA3smABhCjARIsAKtrg6Lw29tw8M5HHyiXrUkp4I3rEvXLMQ1mfQ8gPnLR7ItVNrYp5Jfa0y4aAm17EALw_wcB
Quick questions so I just got a used gauge and sensor but the purple wire is not connected to anything, where does it connect to?

Is that it ? U didn’t do anything with the fuse box?
Is that gauge just a AFR ?
Can I install kit without a tune but not put any e85 until I’m tuned. I want to install it but just run 93 octane like I do and no 85
Yes, you can install it without a tune (essentially not using it) just do not plug up the flex fuel sensors harness
How are you going to get flex fuel on the CoBB? Or are you switching to open source?

Will this be the same process for the ECB-1 kit?
Same, just more wiring.

Do you have the part number for the harness
From the sensor to the oem harness?
This is a kit. I didn't piece it together. Bought it off Evolution Dynamics.
Do you need a tune after you install this?
Yes, of course.
👌👌 great video, how's the kit holding up, is it worth the purchase in your opinion?
It just works. They just source parts, the kit isn't manufactured by them, just pieced out by them.
