I just bought a 12V engine heater/blanket. The cheap and cheerful FlySky one 😄 Our Australian winters don’t get quite that cold (maybe at night) but I think it’s good to make an engines life as easy as possible. I think it will be especially useful for break ins. Can use a 3S lipo for field use 😀😎

I couldn't get my carnage nt started for over a year there. Then I got a drill start recently and heated the engine with a hairdryer until she was piping hot and she started up. The drill start definitely made the difference as I was able to turn the engine over much more easier and I could really notice the difference by heating the engine up. 2 top tips I reckon 😉

its funny how the force 36 engine was a nightmare for me as well.
When i got it new and had to break it in, my hands developed blisters you would get disgusted by lol
i did get through the break in procedure by using the pull start. so big + to force because they just don't break, at least on me.
but i hated it (at that time) after roughly 8-10 tanks breaking in, doing the a mixture of your tips, Adam drake tips and other youtuber tips.
now all it needs is pre-heat 1 pull start or few pulls on cold start.

So would be willing to call in to a Podcast re: Nitro RC? I inquired with you once (almost a decade ago when you were 'JT' or something). You said to get with your assistant or something like that, and I just moved on.
But I see you are back again. Third time is a charm, let's hope. Essentially would like to talk with you about your come up, as to be candid, your nitro rc knowledge is limited compared with others on the podcast, but you were definitely among the first to be sponsored as a RUclipsr and would like to talk about your experiences in that. I was never a spokesperson... Just someone who had fun with RC at the weekends. Yes I was sent stuff for free, and I still am. I have a full time job so whether I continue to get sent things or not is no skin off my nose.
I reply to as many comments as I can, and I have an active facebook page where I reply daily to messages . If I'm missing any questions, please feel free to enlighten me?!
I'm afraid with such a pre-empted inaccurate impression of me it doesn't sound suitable at the moment.

I just tried to start up my HPI Savage X in the cold, it felt like it was going to start up but the engine span forever with no fire up, I suspect that my nitro fuel passed out as I had a bit of it left in the bottle for ages. Igniter glow plug pressure all good, no blockage on engine inlets either. Oh well next time I’ll try with fresh fuel ⛽️ and empty the current fuel as I know that’s going to cause a serious gunk up in the engine internals

When i pinch the fuel line(with the engine to operating temp) it takes 2 secs to quit. Though i dont think its running lean because if i richen it out it has the symptoms of very rich( btw i am running it pretty rich on purpose). Also, when oil (not raw fuel) comes out of the exhaust pipe(when the engine is running) what does that mean? I would greatly appreciate your help :)
