Your observation is correct- Korean cafes are more focused on being instagrammable. Not really close to Japan’s coffee scene yet, but there are more and more great cafes with growing market of specialty coffee and consumers with good tastes

Ahhh love seeing my city through your eyes like this! Yooo if you get a chance to come back, you definitely have to try Anthracite and Fritz! Top beans in the city. Also A to B is lovely! Will admit that coffee is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s good, sometime’s it’s meh, so hope you get to try it again some day on a good day! 😂
The cafes do such a good job with the visuals I think in Instagram times it’s nearly as important as the actual coffee :o I think in general I prefer japans coffee tho
