That replay was misplayed a bit. Revealer and Speakers can rank 4 into Bahamut Shark to make Toad to be Nib proof, then they can make a token so they also have the option to make Quariongandrax and can hand rip 1.

I thought of this while watching, but could Ice Barriers benefit from fish or shark support to make synchro and plays? Ice Barriers are more competent with the new support, but then again it's still slow and kind of inconsistent at times to even pull of one synchro play with any disruptions
Ice barrier is very reliant on your normal summon, any water that can special summon itself from hand can be useful (say silent angler or silent sea nettle to extend with lvl 4 monsters). I thought about using ice jades as they can be used to special summon another water monster from your hand(in case opponent stops your first summon). The deck can do a lot of plays in regards to synchros or rank 4 waters. So you should add cards that support the strategy, i am partial to a minimal atlantean core.
As much as I love seeing Eldlich getting smacked, this isn’t the Ice Barrier way of doing things. It’s a stun deck first turn that destroys on the following turn and switches back to stun and repeat
Also capable to Bahamut Toadally. Depend on hands (and ofc no Ash Blossom'd), you can have Crystron Halqifibrax, Crystron Citree and Toadally Awesome on field. Also depend on your build, you can add Atlanteans and also summon Moulinglacia.
@@chrissalmon1846 that's the problem, to make that synchro you need to synchro into Lv2,7/3,6/4,5/1,8(ursarctic?) First to synchro into it. (1 tuner synchro monster + 1 or more non-tuner synchro monsters) VW excel in going into 6,9 so it will have a limit way to go into it.
@@kritchawatkid if you can't get a lvl 9 out of VW your playing it wrong. Even when it bricks you can still pull off at least 1 lvl 9 by dumping a chuche off of one of your summons.

Ice Barriers used to have some of my favorite art; I filled binder pages with playsets of them. But now they've been taken over by uguu imouto oniichan loli waifu bait, and I'm sorely disappointed.
Wait, how is this ice barrier though when there's literally only a couple ice barrier cards in it? Granted that ice barrier may suck alone, but I don't consider it an ice barrier deck when the majority of the deck and all of the extra deck is cards that aren't ice barrier at all. This is just my opinion so don't get all but hurt. Great deck though whatever you want to call it lol

How do you summon quarion ? you need 2 tuners + non tuner, halq can turn into a tuner synchro, then you can either keep citree as it is or use its effect to turn it into a non-tuner synchro monster, you're still missing 1 monster tuner/non-tuner. 2. Even if they could summon quarion, having your Golden lord banished is still a million times better than having all 4 of your trap cards banished + white eldlixir in the grave banished.

Wouldn't even call it Eldlich but Traptrix Eldlich tbh, a better version of traptrix I guess (I've no idea how to build traptrick so I can't tell), but a straight up worse version of Eldlich trap. Also why are these people playing white eldlixir ? this card is so bad, it's literally scarlet sanguine but bad. Props to you for winning this game (these games ? not sure if you're the player of this replay) but I'm still so upset when watching such obvious mistakes from eldlich players lol.

Ice barrier is actually one of the best decks in the game except for 1 thing, they're too slow. They have a flood gate for literally everything

You won't really get far with a pure ice barrier deck, but it can be very good with some handtraps and upgraded extra deck👌

It needs the Ice Barrier version of Avance and Emilia, which appears in the Frozen Winds spell card.
This eldlich player is so bad... Summon Eldlich in attack position, attack halq and citree to force the synchros and then set your traps
Just summon quarion to banish the eldlich.
