The thing SM did to Yuta is truly awful, for anyone who doesn't know: he got injected chin fillers to achieve the v-line chin which Koreans are so obsessed with. Fortunately, the fillers either dissolved naturally or he was injected hyaluronidase to speed up the process of dissolution (his chin is back to how it looked initially)
Thank God, I had never seen him before and felt so bad that he'd recieved that result. It must be so hard being in the public eye. Thanks for sharing

SM has that strange tendency of trying to koreanize their non-korean idols and it results in taking away their naturally beautiful features simply because they do not fit korean standards, without ever considering that they don't necessarly have to fit them to look good... if anything, it usually ends up looking weird.

Almost every idol under the sun has gotten something ranging from minor eyelid to major rhinoplasty, jaw shaving etc etc because of ridiculous SK standards. But not only that all of our fav pop idols as well have done something or the other to their face. No big deal get over it also on flip side don't feel insecure ,everybody looks the same without the glamour & glitz💗
Idk about the others, but CL hasn't had anything done. Not even eyelid surgery. She still has her monolids. Probably uses tape for makeuo occasionally. She was always against getting cosmetic/plastic surgery. But no matter what, they're all beautiful~

i dont think the amount of 2nd gen and 3rd gen idols who have gotten surgery is anywhere near the amount of 4th gen idols who have gotten surgery.

meaning almost every idol in existence past and present has gotten surgery, and i would have to disagree on that, because surgery was not as popular with the 2nd and 3rd gen as it is with 4th gen.
these days before idols debut its a must for them to go to a surgeon to at least get a analysis of their face and see if there is any features that "needs" perfecting, but for 3rd and 2nd get it was a lot more optional or if they felt very insecure about a certain feature on their face the compony would give them the option to “fix it"

If you watch her new interviews in the TV show where she smiles from the front - she has exactly the same big nose. she is photographed and filmed from a different angle, where it is not visible.

@@geegee6752 because she lost weight drastically? look at her checks. she was pretty chubby AND had baby fat in the first photo. my nose "changed" shape when i went on a weight loss journey a few years ago. people told me i had surgery lmao. fat of any kind plays a bigger part in someone's appearance than you guys think.
when we smile wide (like she did in the first photo) the fat on our nose bridge stretches and "blends" in with our checks. when you lose weight you obviously lose a lot of that fat on your nose too.
plastic surgery is ok and it's very normal in south korea, but just because most idols have it, it doesn't mean theres who don't. it's unfair to compare pictures of them from 6 years ago, before loosing weight to become a trainee, still having baby fat, barefaced with no make up nor filters AND making all these silly faces, smiling etc. with pictures of them on stage, performing, with obvious whitening and smoothening filters applied on screen and a face full of make up.

winter never had surgery done... she lost a lot of weight when she became a trainee! her nose still widens when she smiles. her nose bridge is the same from when she was a little kid. neither did cl. y'all really gotta get it through your thick skulls that weight loss plays a HUGE part in a persons appearance most of the time. i know people that lost weight drastically, that went from 90 kgs to 55 and looked so different i barely recognised them.

Is it just me or i just hate when people are trying to defend that it was just "maturity/growing up" or "weight loss". Even though it is obvious they did get some. Not exactly hate but like a peeve? Like if you keep doing that it would look like it is totally wrong to get a PS or done a few things. I mean I would be proud if someone honestly said they did PS. Both CL and G-Dragon never did plastic surgery: CL achieved that look by losing her baby fat and using makeup with long lashes and eyeliner (there is a video about it on RUclips where she show her makeup routine). G-Dragon confirmed that he never did plastic surgery and the second picture is the result of a strange angle and him being extremely underweight at that time. Also after his debut he fixed his crocked teeth and he lost all his baby fat.
