Man how the fuck they can sound exactly like the studio version? Fuck, we need much more of these artists.
They are the best that's why
they played with a click when Chris Adler was still in the band
I don't understand whenever I read a comment like this..
What else did you expect them sound like? Michael Jackson? (No disrespect)
post-production
Money kid
They are *FLAWLESS* playing live! 🤘
The sound better live imo, more raw
Not that the last 2-3 albums have been bad by any means, but man the era from as the palaces burn through wrath was incredible. The riffage was just so damn good during that time. Still love that they are going strong though.
i recently read a comment under a log video that referred to palaces to wrath era as "the big four". i found it quite fitting
@@moneybadger2097-h9h Hell yea! That's absolutely correct!!!
I feel you. I think they hit a point where they had to sacrifice song structure in order to play an entire live show. Hard to play a dozen-plus songs with Laid to Rest level riffage.
Very well said.
Sacrament ftw
Recover the pizza sauce
Respect Art Cruz, but as a drummer this is one of those songs that you could tell every little detail that Chris Adler put in the drumms, it's nice to see however they still playing some of their old music.
Adler will always be the driving force behind LOG for me.
Chris Adler 💜
He’s way more chill than Adler for sure. This is like 5-10 bpm too slow. Lol Art still kills it though and I feel is a better fit for LOG altogether.
@@tonycottrellChris' drumming made LOG what it is lmao wtf are u on about
To be honest, Art plays so much tighter and cleaner in his live performances in comparison to Chris. I mean no disrespect to Chris, his studio drumming was very influential to me, he brought metal drumming to another level back then. But when I saw them live (around 2015/2016) his playing was so sloppy that I literally stopped listening to LoG for a while. And many other live videos that I saw later confirmed that in my opinion. Whereas I never saw a bad performance of Art so far. He is a beast, is very respectful to the beautiful parts that Chris wrote and his own drum parts on the new records are killer, too (yet they may a bit less creative than the ones Chris played).
This song should played more often , my favourite song and also omerta
Omerta is fucking great and underrated ❤
Last couple tours they’ve opened with Omertà
Again we rise is also a hit
Agreed. Its my favorite LOG song too.
I agree. Way better than their new shit
Thank God for Mark. If he hadn't fought for this song, it never would have seen the light of day. Guy is a legend.
You forget willalder??👀
@@alawichess He and his brother were very much against this song indicating that it wasn’t metal enough. Mark wrote it and lobbied for it. Only reason it’s a thing.
One of my faves.
fucking nuts right? One of my fave. metal tracks. Amazing guitar, and the drum track absolutely destroys! Chris was great but Art kills this too!
i just started reading his book and its insanely good . the dude really is a straight legend.
They got gandalf shredding the bass and aquaman playing the drums 🤘
Did a cover 12 years ago, my throat is still sour. 😂
if you use the correct technique for screaming it shouldnt be bad at all. not sating its easy, it is very difficult and takes alot of time to learn. its amazing how not just the vocalist but the band as well sounds just like the album.
Lamb of God never disappoints ever! Thank you for all the years of music!
haha, nobody seems to have noticed that at 1:15 someone pulled on the crowd surfer dudes hair and a fight started
1:53 Art added an open hi hat and some hi hat filler notes, subtle but I caught it lol
Maybe first time that I notice this in metal, but I think there is lot of dynamics in his playing.
Someone told me the chorus sounds like 'pizza sauce' and I've never really recovered
That's what I heard the first time I listened to this song 😂
And u r just doing the same to others buddy
Recover...the pizza sauce!
THE PIZZA SAAAAAAUCE
THE PIZZAS
@@AerosmithI0Rocks its for the customer
The story of this song is quite interesting, I saw the Making of Sacrament the other day and I can't believe they didn't like the song at first
I'm gonna watch it then, thanks!
btw I used to hate LoG as a teenager and considered Any screams/aggressive /extreme riffs is disturbing! I'm 28 now and I found my way through ''Ashes of the wake" 2004 album, the whole thing is about US lying to the world about war in Iraq, as an Iraqi 10 yrs old kid I saw the M1Abrams tanks in The streets of Baghdad, Dominating everything, I feel really related to every war song written by Randy blyth.
thank god for metal man, deep stuff is awesome. sorry if I talked alot, have a great day!!
This is a quality band wich I will like forever...they are my favourite band
L.O.G THE BEST 👌 🤘💯
Bro this song is absolutely the BEST! It SLAPS SO HARD. MAKE MORE LIKE THIS!!!
My favorite song of lamb what a masterpiece
I've been listening to this nonstop for a while.
nostalgic. love it. डोप
अद्भुत
the most underrated band ever
I would say not underrated but came on the precipice of the Decline of Rocks popularity as a whole.
Those fools will never understand the spirit of all this Song's 🔥🤘💀🎭🤘
Art Cruz proved in this track that he can be next best after Chris Adler!!! Great one mate!!!
Chris Adler 🤟🤟🤟
I love this song, it's one of my favourittes. But, as much as I regret to admit it,.. It sounds incomplete without that unique snare tone of Chris Adler's drum kit.
One of the best Lamb of God songs! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Cmon do a break you live
The river I'm bound to be found in
A rope chosen bound for the hang
When I'm blind and I think I see everything
Convincing myself again
This God that I worship (a faded reflection)
This demon I blame (a flickering flame)
Conspire as one
Exactly the same, it's exactly the same
Descending
To never recover the pieces to all that we've lost
Recover the pieces lost
The pieces to all we've lost
I shudder to think of the consequence
It's blasphemy, simple and true
The tragic protagonist torments
Convincing myself again
This God that I worship (a faded reflection)
This demon I blame (a flickering flame)
Conspire as one
Exactly the same, it's exactly the same

always love it when bands play songs that are not as well known from some of their popular records live like this. Descending, for a slow paced LOG song, is incredibly good.
They are always amazing live! The mark of true professionals! Big props to Art Cruz!
Too bad Chris Adler is not playing the drums. His way of hitting the high pitch snare drum and little details played at high speed rolls makes a lot of difference.
Maaannn Art Cruz..you can hear every piece of his playing, that footwork though
better than the album. holy fuck LOG. fuckking amazing
is exactly the same , recover! ... the pieces! to what we build....
I couldn't pick just one LoG as favorite song.... but this one is right up there...

Drums on fire!
I 100% agree. One of my favorites, such an amazing vibe to it, guitars and lyrics
THA PIECESSSSSSSSSS
Recover...... The pizza sauce.
This god that I worship. This demon I blame. Conspire as one it’s exactly the same. That’s my big takeaway from this song.
willie and mark rule
Miss chris on drums ...those pedals would sound like machine gun
One of my favorite LOG tracks along with 11th Hour and Ruin!
I woulda went mad at that concert!!!!! I love this song
Una canzone stupenda. Una band meravigliosa. ❤❤
No matter how good the drummer is, there is no replacing adler sadly
Definitely a favourite 🖤🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻 Art killed the drumming!
It was better when Chris was drumming.
Lambofgod 👍🤘🤘🤘🇮🇩
Definitely one of the best live sounding metal bands so far.
Lamb of God IS epic live, but I cannot lie, Slayer blew me away more. Those guys sounded so fucking good even after 38 years, on their final campaign tour. The pyro was sick, like the fire curtains on both sides of the stage before Hell Awaits and just when I thought they couldn't possibly be tighter or faster, they somehow found a new notch to kick it up to. It was like 30 some songs of brutality and then some 😁🖤🤘🏻💥
@@metalmamasue3680 I wish I got to see them live once.
@@CrazyHeadassery That's awful, don't they play anywhere near where you are ? We're fortunate enough to live in the country, between 2 small towns (less than 1,000 people lol) where some days I see more deer 🦌 than people 🙂 Yet we're still within 1-3 hour's drive, sometimes a little longer, of a good metal band playing.
And you don't need the best, most expensive tickets to still enjoy the show and have a great time. Thankfully metal bands don't charge those ridiculous prices like some of the pop bands and rappers charge, like several hundred dollars or more. To me that's just pure greed. I got 2 tickets to see Lamb Of God for less than $100. And I'm on disability because my back is messed up. I have 16 screws in my back after 20 years work as a RN.
@@metalmamasue3680 Probably not an American. I feel bad for them 😕 We have all of these great bands and take a lot of it for granted. I'm going to see a LoG next month at a 1500 person capacity venue on one of their off-dates while touring with Pantera. And I'm in the bufu Midwest but 1-3 hours from major cities. I've never seen them be the headliner it's always been co-headline or support.

As a musician this song is such a odd timing he played it perfectly
to be honest, chris left something in LOG music that make it interesting till these day..drum part is always the best part in LOG!
Unique+Creative beats
alguien más lo utiliza para entrenar?? jaja salu2
-Chris Adler
Not Good.
But I digress.
Art with the Kobe jersey.
Same thing I was thinking 🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾 #8#24 love LoG
I 'm so happy now i can play this fabulous song !!
This is epic!
Me encanta esta cancion, es tan hermosa. Me genera diferentes emociones en casi 4 min, increíble!
Love this band! Fantastic sound and energy!
Без Криса не то, хрень полная, извините 😐
Pure fuckin talent
Chris Adler un mostro!! 🤘🤘
These demons I blame!!!! Holy shit this is my my
favorite song
Best live prefromance I've ever witnessed
I can see why Chris Adler himself picked Art .. Art is beast mode
Fuck I love this song
What a fucking song man!
Lamb of God mantap 🤘
Fuckk yeahh!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is my first comment to your channel --- but you guys never thought, how much i love your music i am not listening today its been long time i started with Laid to rest añd then walked with you hell and now i have no sorrow
Thought Gojira was my best recent discovery, but LOG is better. What other Groove Metal bands compare?
Devildriver - the last kind words
not groove metal but check out Eternity's End, Obscura and Alkaloid
also try Meshuggah if you have not. Haake is a beast on the drum.
play Grace song from the wrath album
I was hoping that this would be one of the songs on that set list being released. One of my favorites for sure.
Legend! 🔥
1:16 Manbun violation
hahahhahahahaha
🤘🏼🔥🔥🤘🏼
This venue looks kinda small. I’d LOVE to see them in a smaller indoor venue. Saw them years ago at a big outdoor arena. Was so far from them. But this looks so intimate and awesome!
Amazing live performance so iconic with masterpieces of music great band much love ❤ rock on 🤘
My favorite song🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Laid to rest, Redneck, desolation and descending puré fucking lml metal
Am I the only one who's triggered by Willie playing that one note on the verse lead one half step too low? It just sounds wrong.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but..... I am listening to this with Sony XM3 headphones and I am also a bass player and I have a very picky ear. I think Willie sounds in tune as usual. He doesn't sound tuned down at all
@@BassPlayer9000 Hi Tyler! I'm here to say that you are wrong. I am listening to this with my pair of Neumann KH 120 A with a Neumann KH 750 DSP fed by an Audient iD44 in a well treated room. I am a drummer, bassist, guitarist and singer and have also a very picky ear. Willie plays "that one note" a halfstep lower than the version on the album. I like both versions.
Damn🤘👊🖕💯😘
This is ridiculously clean
🤘
Big shit
God lord that song in stunning. The intro is so freaking cool.
O som desses caras é muito foda...parabéns ..👍👍😉😉
Man, that is so awesome. To see them play in such a small venue.
This song is the beast and the best
F**k yes....I am out of my body when I listen this
I wish they could play Vigil more:(
After watching Al the live from vans in Chicago...I am definitely sold on Art...also Descending is one of my favorites
Better than studio just fucking amazing.
Chris Adler = From 0 to Legend (AquaMan)
i think my balls dropped when they dropped that riff in the start
Art did what Chris couldn’t do live. Check out every live version of this song with Chris and you’ll find those opening double bass blasts to be muddled. Chris will always be an amazing drummer, but I think Art taking over wasn’t a mistake like some think.
Chris wrote drums on this song. ... And he is the best ... No hate to art cruz he is a beast ... But Chris Adler is a god
Walk with me in hell, laid to rest, descending my fav
Masterpiece
I'm just getting into them and they're our next Slayer with Pantera precision....
I feel bad for art's legs
Bro Somehow I feel like you are from The Subcontinent India or Asia.
whoever it was they had on drums that night was on point.
Lamb of God my favourite band love it
Holly shit what a sound and playing 😮
I have seen them so many times live .. one of the best to see live ..
🤘🤘🇮🇩🇮🇩🤘🤘
Fuck this sounded so tight and well put together 😎
This middle eastern part
Awesome ♥️ one of my fav songs, such a classic and iconic LoG song 🤘🏻
