For the hospital scenario, I think the nurse could start picking up the files on the floor herself. After I finished helping the man with the broken foot, I would help the old grandma before he white the plant. Then, I would grab the child and take him/her to the nurse to help find the parents. Plus I would help the nurse with the documents while I was at it.
Honestly, my guess for the first riddle would be that the tree outgrew the girl's pot.

For the first riddle I read the book and it's pretty easy
Actually in a coma you’d still have a chance of being aware and being able to hear everything but you can’t move or open your eyes or anything. It’s scary to think about that possibility

Oh the one with the seeds the reason why the little girl was the new queen is because the king boiled all the seeds which would stop the seeds from growing and all the other plants were something else that they put in the pot so they could be the next king(queen) but the little girl is the only one who is honest
