Like Crazy" is all about a person wanting to stay in their dream and not wake up. In a handwritten letter to fans shared via email newsletter on March 22, Jimin explained the meaning behind his new single, writing, "'Like Crazy' is inspired by one of my favorite films. Guess what that would be!" The movie the singer is referring to is the drama film of the same name starring the late Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones. The song opens with some dialogue inspired by the film, which follows a man from the states and a British woman who fall in love while she's in the U.S., but their relationship is tested when she overstays her visa and is deported. In Jimin's interpretation for "Like Crazy," the characters say, "I think we could last forever. I'm afraid that everything will disappear. Just trust me."

They literally addressed that they know and understand that the music carries more than they can understand in the English translations; and they asked for help with understanding. They in no way dissed it for being non English, nor indicated that they devalued it due to the lack of English. Stop looking for offense where there is none.

♦️Jimin mentioned that one of his fav movies “Like Crazy” he watched during pandemic, inspired parts of the song aside from the title of song. In the beginning as well as ending to the song, he even uses excerpt wordings, with voice over actors using dialogue more in tune with song, from it. Jimin has also said that many of the songs on the album convey what he was going through, his thoughts, his feelings, his emotions as well as despair & depression, during the pandemic in the last few yrs. He also was hoping that maybe it could help others by way of relating & going through similar difficulties during pandemic. So this song Like Crazy, could also be during that time, thinking back while laying his head down, on table in that depressing small room, dreaming of the better times in the past, when he was free to enjoy himself, as well as being with someone or with friends, or even around ppl in general, being able to be free to go out & party. Which is why he even said in the lyrics please don’t wake me up from this dream. I want to stay here.. Maybe, since dirt or mud means despair, that was what all the dirty grimyness including on his hands in the end, also represented, despair of situation, how he felt or how things were at that time, even when it seemed to even ooze into his dream state.🙏❤️🔥🔥😅😍🤩🌟✨💫
Whatever the music makes you feel, whether reading the lyrics or just listening to it, that's your truth. That's what the art does to you. And of course it's always nice to know what the artist's meaning was, that's cool too. I think Army does a great job at giving the background meanings of the songs. I hear you....I've been ARMY since the pandemic, and I was reluctant to get further into BTS because most of the songs were in Korean. But, with that said, what I enjoyed was the different music, beats, the lyrics, and their ability to seamlessly transition between Koean and English in nearly every song. At one point, I thought about whether it really mattered that they were singing in another language? I didn't have a problem listening to, for example, Santana or Bad Bunny. I don't speak Spanish. It dawned on me that American global artists became global all over the world in countries that don't speak English either. I believe music is universal and bridges a gap no matter what language we speak. So it definitely changed my mindset. I now say I can't speak Korean, but I can sing in Korean😄💜
For me, music is a language itself, so si like music that makes me feel something, no matter the language. And BTS has proven that 💜💜💜 I love their music, either they are in English, Korean, Japanese…
BTS members usually talk about their intention as they wrote their music, but they also say that it's fine to interpret however you would. I do think you should know, though, that it would be nigh on impossible for a BTS song to reference drugs, because they are very, very illegal in S. Korea - in fact, a citizen can be arrested for doing drugs outside of the country (same goes for gambling). Jimin's entire "FACE" album was about him dealing with his feelings during the pandemic. For this song, he said that he realized he was drinking a bit too much as he tried to cope with the loss of the world tour they had worked so hard on for months (because COVID struck and they had to cancel it), as well as the loss of everything he enjoyed related to touring. Jimin was really struggling and was a bit lost, but at the time he thought he was "just having fun." He realized later that it was really about him struggling and having a hard time. He talked later about the fact that the members knew he was struggling, but they let him have space rather than coming down on him. When they were finally in Vegas for the Permission to Dance concerts they were finally able to have there in April 2022, he talked to the members about his feelings and they suggested he work it out through music writing...and that's how FACE (and "Like Crazy" came about). Also, the BTS members have repeatedly - like over and over and over - said that they WILL return as a group after the hiatus. Someone else explained their plans to celebrate the 10h anniversary of their 2-album "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" series next year. In a fairly recent behind-the-scenes video (Mini Moni Album Exchange, or something like that), Jimin and RM talk about needing to get back to concerts, not being able to wait to be back as a group, maybe doing group AND sub-unit AND individual projects.. (A sub-unit is when parts of the group do music together - sometimes it's "rap line" and "vocal line" or it's a rapper and two vocalists, or just two vocalists, etc., etc.) It sounds to me like they're planning to do things more like a "music collective" (like Balming Tiger) - where they come together for group projects, but they also allow room/time for their own projects (solos/collabs with other artists), as well as working with just another member or two on songs/albums. I think the plan is really exciting! RM once said that when they come back "it will be revolutionary." You have to remember that they didn't go on this hiatus because they necessarily wanted to, even though they ARE taking advantage of it to grow as individual artists and experience some things in life that they don't have a lot of time for with their group schedules. They are on this hiatus primarly because they are required to do military service. The timing of it all was screwed up by the onset of the pandemic - they were to have done their world tour in 2020, and then their hiatus was to have begun then for solo projects and military service. They pushed it off for two years, and in those intervening two years they absolutely BLEW UP as a group - went from a band that could sell out stadiums easily to one that exploded into the stratosphere (sold out SoFi Stadium and Allegiant Stadium in separate ticket sales in fan pre-sales - they didn't even get to the general public sales) - FOUR nights at each location, too.
As for new projects: RM has a collab with Megan Thee Stallion releasing on Friday at Midnight ET. It's a song called "Neva Play." RM is the feature on her song. (As background, Megan was featured on a remix of the BTS song "Butter" a few years ago, and often when BTS does collabs, they do it was a "swap" - you be on my song, I'll be on yours. This is one of those cases, we think.)
El idioma no importa, hablo español, no hablo inglés ni coreano, pero es lo hace más especial, la música rompe las barreras del lenguaje, y nos hace ver más allá de nuestro contexo, gracias por su reacción a JIMIN, saludos desde Perú.

I’m glad I always just vibed with music even if it wasn’t in a language I understood. I never once listened to music on the radio and been like “what the hell I’m listening to?” I mean half of the time English songs sound gibberish to me and since English isn’t my first language I never had a problem with listening to other music in other languages otherwise I would be missing out on good music like these folks. The problem is you are focusing on the lyrics try to listen to the melody and the beat see if you like that first then focus on the lyrics.
For sure... I think that he should stop to react. Because he's opinion isn't for the music is just because he can't read. He need receive all in English to feel comfortable. Boring 😴
All 7 members of BTS have already renewed their contracts with HYBE labels and they already have a special project planned for 2025 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life after the last 5 members are discharged next June. And I have no doubt a huge world tour will happen probably in 2026 because it takes time to rehearse and plan a tour. BTS isn't disbanding anytime soon. They've all said they want to remain together as a group for as long as possible, but I'm sure they will continue solo projects too. BTS' last world tour was in 2019 and their tour for 2020 was canceled due the pandemic so trust me BTS' next tour is going to be one for the history books. J-Hope gets discharged October 17th and RM, V, Jungkook, Jimin, and Suga get discharged June 2025. Jin was discharged in June and he's already been filming so much content and his solo album is coming later this year.
Will co-sign what others posted that there is really good live performance of this song on the Jimmy Fallon show of the English version. Also Be Mine on his new Muse Album has an English version. They signed a 7 year contract with Hybe as a group so they will do an album and tour. Jin is out and J Hope is done with his military duty next month. The rest will be out June 2025.
I don't speak English and I still listen to English songs. If I want to know the text, I find it and translate it. I love BTS and I have no problem getting all the lyrics translated. It's that simple, you know? And I don't have to know the words the first time I hear them. I know, your choice. But BTS is a Korean group and it's gratifying for me to hear their language.

One time a fan said, to understand BTS you need to hit the books, because what we get from it and what is the reality is always oceans apart. And guys, I actually like your reactions because you r honest, but you can also be a little dense.. there’s literally music in English that end up making any sense.. 😔.. but ok, you trying.. you nice.. keep going. Someone will grab you by the hand and guide you proper 😊
Waiting for yall to react to seven by jungkook. Its full English. It has a Clean version wity music video and an explicit version with performance video. You should listen both cause they both have different meaning. I prefer explicit version. Waiting for it.
I'm a Jimin bias but this isn't my favorite of his either, I like aspects of it, but there are other ones I like more and that's totally fine. And people always say "it's not my language, I don't understand what they're saying" yet when a song in Spanish comes on suddenly nobody has an issue hahaha🤣 My friends say the same and I'm like "I better not hear you vibin' to 'Despacito' again then!" 😂 I, personally, love the Korean songs SO much more because the vibe is unique and it may take a couple times listening and reading to understand the message behind it but music transcends language for me, no hate though✌️ I suggest looking up the lyrics maybe before you watch the music videos, might help you conquer one aspect of reacting to Korean/English songs? Just a thought!
i honestly love yall's reactions, i disagree with a lot of your points im ngl but i feel like you're trying harder to understand/engage in the music so i appreciate that. bts' music is very versatile so it would make sense if theres some you dont like. however, i feel like you guys have watched enough of their singles/title tracks so you guys should react to bts - festa room live 2021. its a live mashup bts performed for their anniversary in 2021 and it incudes a lot of thier songs. its prettty fun and bc their discography is so diverse, youre defo gonna like some of the songs they perform on there. the videos also quite short but shows soooo much range. i feel like yall will prefer the rap or pop parts over the r&b songs tho
@@taskhn how will they appreciate mash ups when they haven’t reacted to those songs in full yet? Suggest individual tracks, they prefer in english too, so its difficult for these close minded type of people.
People are allowed to like what they like. Tupac and Erykah Badu are objectively some of the greatest artists in the world, but that does not mean I have to wholeheartedly love and appreciate everything they do-they are not my style in the slightest, and my reaction will be similar to this. Is my mind not open to art? Or does it only count if it’s BTS? What about Jack White? He’s one of the best musicians living right now - I would 99.9% bet you would be like this for his music. Heck, I’d bet these guys would also react that way. I’d actually bet they would be harsher for him, based on their preferences.
@@lilyandrose8557 I know. His talent is incredible. He sings like a beast. His ability with his voice is unparalleled. And his penchant for vibrato and vocal runs make me want to punch the screen. I HATE vibrato and vocal runs. Because taste and preferences do not force you to love something just because it is the top of the game. That’s not how liking something works.
First, i apologize that I do not know your name on the right. If I did, I would respectfully address you. However, I have to comment regarding the belief that they will not put out another album in 2025 and that you believe that ARMY will "move on." ARMY will not "move on." I've said it before in the comments that BTS is more than just a group of guys that create stellar music. Their music has saved lives, helped people not feel alone during their darkest times, and whether you understand or believe it or not, there is a relationship between BTS and ARMY. Quite honestly, the fact that you would say that shows you dont understand what we've been trying to tell you and I believe you when you say that you dont bother to read the comments that we have been leaving while trying to help you. We aren't being "negative." we are trying to explain that there is a disconnect, and if you truly wanted to understand, the information is there in abundance. But you insist we are being negative. Take a good look and see 1. If you are convinced we are being negative, why? Are we responding to comments that were presented negatively initially? Are we explaining something that was misunderstood? 2. Are your preconceived notions painting comments in a light that they truly aren't because you go into it believing that we are negative people? Sure, some people are rude, but most of us (if not all in our own way) are trying to help you. You keep reacting to BTS but show no understanding BTS or ARMY and consistently say things that show you dont understand. ARMY would welcome you in with open arms, even if you dont love all the music if you showed the genuine interest beyond clicks. I personally come back with the hope that you show some understanding of what we have been trying to say, and each time, I leave saddened. You dont have to love all the songs, you dont have to watch all their shows, none of that is required. But you show up to react to them and dont read when we try to help and consistently show you dont bother to know why we might get frustrated when we do take the time to explain. I know the guy on the left (again, I apologize for not knowing names) does read and has even hearted my comments before. So maybe he will tell you that we only want to help if you will let us.
I watched your reactions starting from SMF pt 2. And I’m sorry but you can’t retain me as a viewer. You constantly berate your viewers and it’s pretty clear that you hate them. You think you’re honest about music choices but you come off as ignorant and rude. Especially the guy on the right side. (since you like honesty so much) Even though I can see that you have tried to tone down your generic dislike of having to react to KPop. It is showing less and less. So good job on that. Best of luck for the rest of your journey tho.
one thing about kpop, they are gonna innuendos to the max, lol. but a good kpop song that's full English is NCT's ''highway to heaven'' english version. this group actually does a few english versions of their songs
If you can’t relate to foreign language songs, why are you reacting to BTS and their solo music? 98% of their music is Korean. Of course, you would like SNTY most - it’s not a Korean song - it’s 💯 English/American. All of JK’s music in solo era is collaborative music with famous western artists, singing in English.
@@ArmantoAlex13 and he didn’t even write any of those 😭 id appreciate a true artist who writes, produce, choreograph his own songs, who works hard for it than just an artist waiting for songs to be handed to him.
@@rubrikcrousbofill2588 Jungkook writes lots of his own work lmao, that's like saying all the other BTS members (vocal line) aren't real artists before they went solo. His voice is the best of all BTS, he wanted to sing, but didn't have anything to say then.
@@Maeee0-0 His voice is best of all BTS, is an opinion, Your opinion. By all means he has a fantastic voice, but it's also the most generic according to me. The way you're casually leveling down the other members, inorder to level up your bias. In my opinion, Jimin and V both have vocal tones that are so unique and stand out, not just in the group but the entire music industry. Jin on the other hand is really emotive with his singing, him and Jimin(Jhope as well) are really outstanding with expressing the emotions through their vocals, so are the others but these two stand out the most to me. JK is definitely a great vocalist, but in my experience he has the least interesting voice when compared to the rest of the members, including the rapline. And that's just my opinion, I've never really been fond of the Charlie Puth, Justin Timberlake, Adam Levine generic vocal archetype. But they surely work well, but so do the unique voices.
Theres a lot of english songs but theyre BS mid type of songs. If you dig in more of Jimins and BTS songs has deeper meanings, youll appreciate it. Or know their story . Dont call yourself a stan or a fan yet. Youre not there yet.

El idioma no importa, hablo español, no hablo inglés ni coreano, pero es lo hace más especial, la música rompe las barreras del lenguaje, y nos hace ver más allá de nuestro contexo, gracias por su reacción a JIMIN, saludos desde Perú.
This song makes me go wild 🫣
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉😊
BTS 💜 is a Korean group it makes sense that they sing in Korean it's not a problem good music is universal we feel Afterwards we can consult the translation to better understand and appreciate normally the language is not a problem it should not be a barrier between peoples we must open up to the world 💜Please comment on these songs fix you, your eyes tell, crystal snow , fiesta 2021 thanks
There is a English version of it with the music video.
With all the respect, But the black guy is really more open minded, I like him.... Just my opinion
For sure... I think that he should stop to react. Because he's opinion isn't for the music is just because he can't read. He need receive all in English to feel comfortable. Boring 😴
@@shaunidocinho yes, true.. I will not watch them again for sure
Jimin - Set me free pt2🔥🔥🔥
Please 🙏
Please react to jimin's Set Me Free pt2 MV.
There an English version to the song.
You should watch a lyric video of the english version of Like Crazy! And the dance practice is amazing
like crazy performance react please ❤
He performed the English version on Jimmy Fallon's show.
There is an English version of this song. He did it live on Jimmy fallon fyi.
Please reacting to "a long and helpful guide to bts"
urge you to also react to: 🔥❣Jimin “Set Me Free Pt.2” MV, ruclips.net/video/UaywgAqcLxI/видео.htmlsi=N3h-VKadt1wUklfq (turn on cc for subtitles). From Jimin’s solo released first album FACE! Jimin wrote the lyrics, composed the melody & helped produce, also has beyond amazing spectacular choreography, that Jimin himself was involved in as well as set design for MV. Would also love for you to see dance practice, also afterwards, 🔥❣Jimin “Set Me Free Pt.2” live stage at Mcountdown, after you react to the must see MV,.👍❤🔥😍🔥🔥
I know you don't understand the lyrics but can you honestly understand all the lyrics on English songs by American artists? I certainly cant😅
A fair point!
React TXT 'DEVIL BY THE WINDOW' PERFORMANCE PLEASE 🖤You will like it, because it is a work of art!
That is how the boomers feels. I understand why you said it like that. My grandpa say the same thing 😂😂
I'm a Jimin bias but this isn't my favorite of his either, I like aspects of it, but there are other ones I like more and that's totally fine. And people always say "it's not my language, I don't understand what they're saying" yet when a song in Spanish comes on suddenly nobody has an issue hahaha🤣 My friends say the same and I'm like "I better not hear you vibin' to 'Despacito' again then!" 😂 I, personally, love the Korean songs SO much more because the vibe is unique and it may take a couple times listening and reading to understand the message behind it but music transcends language for me, no hate though✌️
I suggest looking up the lyrics maybe before you watch the music videos, might help you conquer one aspect of reacting to Korean/English songs? Just a thought!
Love your recreation.. please react to RM Nuts live performance💜💜
I think you guys should react to Festa Room Live 2021 next. It shows their versatility and I think you would love it.
Bts room festa 2021 is amazing one Please watch this
i honestly love yall's reactions, i disagree with a lot of your points im ngl but i feel like you're trying harder to understand/engage in the music so i appreciate that. bts' music is very versatile so it would make sense if theres some you dont like. however, i feel like you guys have watched enough of their singles/title tracks so you guys should react to bts - festa room live 2021. its a live mashup bts performed for their anniversary in 2021 and it incudes a lot of thier songs. its prettty fun and bc their discography is so diverse, youre defo gonna like some of the songs they perform on there. the videos also quite short but shows soooo much range. i feel like yall will prefer the rap or pop parts over the r&b songs tho
Ils ont aimé ou non ?
@@taskhn how will they appreciate mash ups when they haven’t reacted to those songs in full yet? Suggest individual tracks, they prefer in english too, so its difficult for these close minded type of people.
I think you should just listen north American music. Your mind it's not open to art.
@@MarleyM414Dimash Kudaibergen is one of the best artists in the world 🌎
@@lilyandrose8557 I know.
Great reaction guys!!!!. 💜....... BTS will be back together in 2025!!! It will be Epic.
gosh of course it has a double meaning and one of it is about sex
I Carnot wait for you to go into V solo Music as well as the rap style of BTS also of you want to enjoy check Run BTS live!! With Love from Spain 🇪🇸
(since you like honesty so much)
Even though I can see that you have tried to tone down your generic dislike of having to react to KPop. It is showing less and less. So good job on that.
Best of luck for the rest of your journey tho.
Reaction Enhypen Brought the heat back MV
one thing about kpop, they are gonna innuendos to the max, lol. but a good kpop song that's full English is NCT's ''highway to heaven'' english version. this group actually does a few english versions of their songs
