I'm gonna echo a lot of these other comments in saying, thank you for the non fluff BS you usually get when you're just looking for the workings of some information. I like this style. Way to get it done. Thank you.
Thanks for the recipe. I normally only cook 40 minutes but I assume every Pressure Cooker is different. I also remove the onion and garlic with a cup and half of beans and mash it gently into a lumpy paste, then re-add and stir into the remaining beans for a thicker result.
I am going to try this way. I have never cooked with the Insta pot, but I think I’m just gonna have to be brave and go buy a new one. Lol I never would’ve thought about putting chicken bullion in there. Again thanks so much
Great information, thanks! Personally, I thought the music took away from your message, but that's just me. About the Knorr: I've heard that adding salt to your beans before cooking makes the skins tougher. I'd add the Knorr after the beans are cooked.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree with the music was just having fun with it and still learning the editing aspect 🤣 and thanks for the tip about adding salt later i will definitely give that a try.
@@dorothybrown8859 I actually don’t know how the comment is on this video. This is not the video I commented on. A woman was cooking on the video I commented on and she did IP for 35 minutes.
@@graceoudin8813 Well, you are correct, 35 minutes is not enough unless you like under cooked beans. I cooked for 59 in my 3qt and allowed for natural release. I even let it sit a while after that. May cook a few mins longer next time. Good luck.
2.5 minutos, that's perfect. I'm tired of watching 12 minute videos just for doing some beans.
Keep like this. Easy recipes for the instant pot.
Man...thanks for the 2 minute and 50 sec. Easy...every other video took forever to get to the point
hahaha! was thinking the same.
No problem thanks for watching!
@@BetoCooks Bravo ! Same reason I watched it and it did NOT disappoint
This is the video I've been searching for!! You didn't leave anything out, and no life story about beans lol
Thank you sir!
Beto, thank you for pointing out how to use the sealing and vent on top of the lid. I wasn't sure how to use them!
Hahaha that background music tho😂
Some action cooking!

Thank you so much I followed your video and my beans turned out really good 😋
Thanks for sharing 😊. The directions were simple and to the point. I’m trying my Insta Pot for first time and pinto beans was my choice.

With some eggs for breakfast 🤤

Your beans look delicious.
I just tried your recipe, it was delicious!
Glad you liked it!!
Hell yeah!
Yum, 🇿🇦
Thank you!! I just got an instant pot still haven't figured it all out yet.
So easy to use, Elaine, do not put it off any longer.
Great video! Question. By adding chicken bouillon does it take away from the bean smell/flavour?
I never thought about putting my lid to the side like that omg😂
After making the bean, do you drain the liquid?? Or I can add the rest of the ingredients

Is this for a 6 qt instapot or 8 qt? Thanks!
The Batman 🦇 black gloves add an ominous touch 🤨
😂
So after this, I guess you could put your beans into the Vitamix, and make bean dip?
Absolutely 💯
Wash beans, add water to cover, boil for 10 minutes, throw out that water, add water to cover, cook until tender, add salt. (for mild tasting Pinto)
This would be much better w/o background music
Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏼
which quart instapot is this one
3qt
@@BetoCooks thank you!
Same as mine: 3 Qt
over night soak then cook for 12 minutes
What
Seriously
@@sawyerbutt5537 yep
Dont forget the jalapenos

35 minutes is not enough time. I would try 40 minutes. Because at 35 minutes, the beans are not fully cooked.
He said 55 minutes, then slow release for 20 minutes.
