I can understand how Stewie felt. When my family and I lost two of our dogs in 2022 we were all devastated. When they decided to go adopt another dog I wasn't sure I was ready because knowing that our other dogs are irreplaceable. We adopted two puppies and we love them! We still miss the dogs we lost but the new dogs are just as sweet!

This was just a pathetic rating trap. One where they knew what they were doing from the start. Hence why they brought him back so quickly. And I mean two episodes later.
Not true at all. Macfarlane came out after and said they would never kill off Brian. To quote his tweet:
“You really think we’d kill off Brian?”
This scene reduced me to tears honestly, so dang heartbreaking.

Sad fact: Vinny was completely forgotten about when Stewie went back in time to an alternate universe where Brian was saved (by stewie).
I'm not a Family Guy fan but there are definitely times where they can hit deep. The speech Vinny gives in the end really hit me in the feels.
There's some real truth to this episode, really no matter how you look at it. Yeah loss is hard, but a good support system helps to move on. Moving on and forgetting are not the same thing. But also, it shows how our pets can have such an impact and influence on our young children. My youngest son is autistic and has a service animal, a black lab. They love each other and the bond we as a family share with her is unbreakable. It's nice to see such impactful scenes.

One night, at 1AM when I was a kid, I turned the TV to the wrong channel and this was literally the first I ever saw of Family Guy. Funny how when you have no knowledge of something, you learn about it when you somehow manage to stumble upon one of its most historic points

I think Brian survived so many times from all the big things that happened with risk to Brian’s life, but this is because it was just a comedy so Brian survived all of them except for this one. And the reason he died is because this is real, it’s not a joke it’s based on the element of the story.
I have to say when I seen this episode and they had Vinny it was going to suck without Brian.

I actually fell bad for Stewie, especially when he misses out on his best friend.
I lost my dog on christmas eve last year. My dad saved him from an abusive home and gave me him as a present. It was during school when I first met my dog, Ash. And since that day we immediately became friends. My other dog (yes I have two dogs well, used to) hated him since Ash was getting the attention. But then eventually they became like a couple and sleep on the same bed as well. Yall might call me that I'm easliy emotional because I only have Ash for 10 months. But I dont have a good friendship with Katie. But I did have an amazing friendship with Ash. The day when he died was the most devastating event in my life so far. He never experience Christmas in a loving family. He fought so hard through a chronic disease but I cant let my baby suffer anymore. He was weak to walk but he always have the energy to greet me whenever I came home from school. He started to not eat or drink. I can tell that he was suffering a lot. His abusive family damaged his healthy greatly. But he always look at me and that his way of showing affection. The day where we have to put him down. He gave everyone one last look. But he looked at me the longest and I just sit there and trying not to try and telling him that he doesnt have to worry about me. Then the shot was in, and his head dropped. He is dead. Everyone else was crying except me. I know he cant rest if I cry. But the moment i have to hold his body...I cant take it anymore. And just cried. When I got back at the house. I cried at the doorstep because now theres no one that would greet me.Ash was the only one that did. And I went upstairs to my room and I see an empty bed and clothes. I miss that little pup. I'm happy that I show him real love and friendship of his last months. He really was an amazing dog. Rest In Peace my friend. You turn my life for the better.

I understand you, i had a cat named after hermione's cat and he was a very playful and liked to hang out with other Cats, two years ago he passed away due to a decease and i wasn't even with him when It happened, i couldn't say goodbye and i still feel like garbage till this day, let's just hope there is a heaven for pets and they are happy there
