I grew up with Kelpies. Dad was a drover/jackeroo in the channel country, bred kelpies and trained them as working dogs. We always had 3 of our own that dad would use for work. I'm an old bloke now and my last kelpie was a blue heeler cross. He was quite a handful of energy.
We are about to start full-time travelling also, and we even chopped our patrol to be able to fit our big boof head to come along. Great info guys thanks
She's a lovely dog. We have been travelling with our greyhound for the past 5 years. Food has been the only issue. We only feed him the highest quality kibble which is not available in some remote areas. Good planning required. Greyhounds are so layed back and low maintenance.

How do you deal with visiting national parks
If there is a national park we really want to go to we just book them into a kennel.
