"We will never, never land.." I've always loved how goth/deathrock music is dominated by melodic basslines. "Lucretia" especially. This record is the perfect backdrop to anything.

Dude, you LOOK like Floodlands album. If a wizard turned that album into flesh and blood, you'd be it. Driven Like The Snow is my favorite, but the entire album is amazing.

Have you watched the live video version of Emma? :) ...and Floodland is one of my favorite albums, too. I was a teen when it came out. It's so cool to see younger generations find and love bands and music that came out when I was young. Of course, there's a lot of great music before and after.

those 00s goth-metal bands had something special like Seraphim Shock, Theatres des Vampires, Lacrimosa even HIM
it's cool the bands that echo the same feeling Sisters of mercy evokes like The Kentucky Vampires and The Awakening are much easier to find these days

I don't know why youtube recommended this to me, but it was cool haha. I really like "Never Land (A Fragment)" from that record. It's so chill and ambient like. It would a perfect track for the Vampire Bloodlines game.

Generally speaking, Sisters of Mercy are kings of repetition. They have a way with catchy, repetitive themes that put you into a trance of sorts.
Definitely! I love their song "Vision Thing". That riff is so catchy.
What would you say is your fav song on the album? I have a bad habit of listening to the same songs over and over again when i find a few i like and sisters of mercy is def a band i do that with XD
I'm the same way with any band I love! I always obsess over a track then get sick of it haha. I really love Never Land and 1959. Never Land has this interesting sound, it feels like you're in a movie

@@DevinRyanVitekFloodlands is good tho, you should review something out of your usual sphere (if you want) and just give it a listen and reaction and review, could be fun for the channel, who knows? I suggest Jose Luis Vasquez' first Soft Moon album, and see if you like it enough for you to do the rest over time... may he rest in peace!
