Hey man I've watched your combo videos since umvc3 and holy crap this combo video puts my bnbs to shame! Keep up the good work and I will be stealing some of these combos but make them a tad bit easier for bnbs.
The thing that I actually like about Dante in mvci ironically is the removal of the bold cancel shit that almost felt like a necessity to know/do back with Dante in umvc3. Glad now you are able to cancel into another special without the need of bold cancelling, especially when u had to do Stinger>Bold Cancel>Volcano in umvc3, could never do that shit. Great combo video though!

Try to be as close to your opponent as possible so you're under them while doing Shredder. Also try to keep the combo short so Acid Rain hits. Also just remember that Acid Rain is random. I wouldn't recommend relying on it. I do hope we're talking about Acid Rain here.

Honestly, besides it’s mechanics, this whole game feels like it is still in early development. I hope Capcom releases a huge patch in the near future that addresses all these issues. I am hoping that it will also be free as well.

It sure was a slight pain but if it helps it's worth it. My opinion on the game is mixed. When it comes to matches, it can exciting when all four characters are fighting each other but with regards to combos... I'm disappointed. To say the least. Can't do amazingly long combos. As for teams, too early to tell.
I love Dante in MVCI more than umvc3 already, because now you can actually do stylish combos without sacrifing damage, not as much as in umvc3 anyways, since there the shoot loops were the only way to get good damage end game. Here all your combos look like they can actually be used as bnb's because they do good damage, all of them go beyond the 8k mark with level 3 which is great and up to standarts (providing your execution mid match is on point, which every Dante player shouldn't have a problem by now). Anyways great video and Im stealing that 8.8k combo ;) .

Gotta wait until after the Volcano hits then double tap to get that spin as soon as possible. And, of course, it is a jump cancel. As for the Revolver after Beehive, you have to wait until that second last kick before that heel drop. Enemy freezes in midair for some reason. Thanksh! And I hope that helped.

I did not know that you can do the nunchakus in the air, I can't find the input, little help here? :B, by the way the timing for the Beehive freeze kick state is very tight, I want to like this Dante version, but feel like the mvc3 version is more fun to combo with, plus way easier, at least for me, I'm missing the teleport combos, those were dope. any tips on how to land the 2nd Heavy sequence for the Jeddah combo? I could land it find the first time but im always dropping the last HP needed to cancel into qcf+HP
For some reason I can't figure this out. the combo against Strider, you use QCFU for the ice spikes, doesn't the UP make you jump? it does for me and I miss my move. Doing it normally with just QCF doesn't cancel in time from the windmill, some insight here?
Well the up is to jump but I stop the jump into the ice spikes. If you have auto super jump on then you don't to press up. As for why it misses, not sure. Just tap as fast as you can. there's no secrets there.
As a longtime Dante player, I can say this pretty good stuff. I've got most of his optimal combos and technique down, but my only issue is figuring out the timing for the jump cancel combos. I can't get it consistently. Playing on pad makes this pretty difficult. Any tips?
I got it down now. Didn't realize it was a down down up input for the cancel. It's just like marvel 3 bold cancel teleport. TFW old muscle memory becomes relevant again

It was a jump cancel. So I input acid rain but I add up after quarter circle forward. Hope that makes sense.

It's actually the still the same. Gotta tiger knee the revolver after Volcano. If you could it in UMVC3, then it's the exact same.

So after the first volcano you just tap up and then do volcano again?
First do the input for Volcano and after the first Volcano hits then hit up and HP. All about timing.
Remember when you use to run a team with Wolverine and dante!
