Depends on the level of emergency you have, if you got a scratch and want bandage then you must have atleast a dollar for bandage and extra few dollars as a bank charge in your bank and if you're highly injured then you might need to maintain millions of dollar for that kind of emergency, so it totally depends on you :) You can't take Indian currency Or PH pesos on board, it's hard to convert and carry INR and i dont think so you'll get Pesos in India, so the best thing to carry is USD, I suggest you to carry a bit of USD cash and use Forex Cards Or Debit Cards for further money Withdrawals in Philippines
