Grab food from the counter in the dining room.
Place an upgrade in the filing cabinet to buy later. Or buy a research table and you can 'upgrade your upgrades'. Researching a sink will give you a sink option later that allows multiple dirty dishes for example.
Also, playing this alone is HARD. 😅

You can pick up plates from over the counter, also picking up a dirty plate and placing it back from a table will make the customers come in and sit next to dirty dishes (only works with one plate on the table), also you can put food on a table then talk to them and if you put the correct food they will eat immediately (if you have a surplus of food it helps), also you can disable chairs from your tables ( you make it so when there leaving there not in your way, also if the table is close to a conter disable the chair closest to the counter so you can pick up stuff from across) lastly if you get that far a dirty plate holder attached conveyer connected to a table will take the dirty plates the second your customer is done eating freeing the table for new customers.

Watching him take plates through the whole resteraunt instead of just over the counter was the worst thing ever. Realistically though, if youre playing solo, you should bring the kitchen closer to you. Set up the makings stuff at the wall counter, and the plates and washing in the dining area. Theyll be extra messy but if you keep the floor wet, it doesnt matter. Go for formal, i feel like its just a required thing, because then you can take all the messy traits and theyll never be messy once you max out the decor buffs. Also Pizza is the most over powered food in the game.

Day 102 (whooo) of recommending "The Perfect Tower 2", it’s a semi-idle incremental tower defense game, where you upgrade your tower, with a lot of things to do! p.s. you get to kill a lot of cubes, and if u grind to late game...well i wont ruin the surprise
