He was on his way to his school, when he came upon a goose hunter who told him that he had just shot a goose and that its flying partner, seeing his mate was shot dead, crashed himself to the ground to die alongside. Yuan HaoWen was so moved on hearing this, so he bought the pair of dead geese from the hunter and buried them together, placing a tomb stone marked [雁丘] "Yanqiu", meaning Geese’s Grave. He then wrote the poem [摸鱼儿-雁丘词] "Moyuer-Yanqiu Ci" to express the true love between the two wild geese. Zhou Shen sang the song live on the program [经典咏流传] "Classic Chant Chuan" He was highly praised by both the esteemed professors of Chinese Classical music, Professor Kang Zhen and Professor Liao Changyong

Yuan HaoWen [元好问], a distinguished, highly revered legendary scholar of literature in the Jin and Yuan Dynasty eras, wrote this poem at the age of 16.
He was on his way to his school, when he came upon a goose hunter who told him that he had just shot a goose and that its flying partner, seeing his mate was shot dead, crashed himself to the ground to die alongside. Yuan HaoWen was so moved on hearing this, so he bought the pair of dead geese from the hunter and buried them together, placing a tomb stone marked [雁丘] "Yanqiu", meaning Geese’s Grave. He then wrote the poem [摸鱼儿-雁丘词] "Moyuer-Yanqiu Ci" to express the true love between the two wild geese.
