you mentioned that mechanical advantage is equal to the number of pulleys and also the velocity ratio is equal to the number of pulleys but, mechanical advantage is not constant ?

hello meet, the thing is that friction in the pulley bearings, weight of the pulleys ,etc make us put more effort than needed , hence effort becomes a little more than the ideal effort, but the velocity ratio is always constant because the distance moved is same.Hope you got the concept
