Happy Sunday everyone! Today I have another affordable alternative video where I am showing you how to get the look of Aimé Leon Dore but for much cheaper! I am not trying to completely copy their outfits but I am using their SS22 lookbook as inspiration for the outfits in this video. Thanks for watching!

This video is proof of how hard is it to replicate and pull off the ALD style. They're on another level
Definitely got the silhouettes down, but I think the color coordination could have been better to match the ALD look. I think that's a big part of why their styling is always super appealing and distinct.
Second that! no offense but it looks like ALD ordered at wish. specially the 2nd outfit - the green western shirt is the star of the outfit. hard to be replaced with something plain like the brown. But 235 quids for a nylon/polyester shirt is cocky
another great alternative is Abercrombie! They completely rebranded recently and have the exact vibe but for like literally fraction of the price. Their stuff goes on sale often and they even used some of alds models and 550s in their looks books
That’s a great shout, I’ve heard a lot of good things about them recently so I’m definitely going to check them out.

What makes these ALD look so great is the color combinations. From the brown of the belt matching the red Roses on the green shirt, the white tank matching with the NY logo etc.. You completely missed that. Also the way the pieces fit isn't it
You're an inspiration James. It's shocking to see how well you can replicate ALD's lookbook styles. I'm trying to do the same here but with its blazers.

ALD fits better and looks better, never compromise on quality and attention to detail.
It’s 300 pounds for pure plastic shirt in green western.
I totally agree with you on the fit and look but let’s not kid ourselves with “quality”
And the fit and look is better only cause it’s carefully orchestrated photography and better colour combining. It’s not realistic to live like that. Look at their hats, they’re just lightly propped on the model, they’re not even actually worn

That green western shirt is a rip on a old Ralph Lauren shirt that is a rip of a vintage H Bar Co shirt. I know because I looked for one for so long 😭
