but there's also like 5 different vtubers who had other personas before joining so i get the confusion unless u knew vshojo from day one u wouldn't assume they hire indies
In the beginning it was like a club or group of indie VTubers that actually has an agency behind supporting them. Then there were 5 new -reincarnated- members (+1 OG member who comes back occasionally, not referring to the litigious one). So that's how VShojo got their current new reputation.
There are some wikis that are really funny, like the Transformers fan wiki, where there are all sorts of stupid thing from either the toys, the cartoons or even really weird details like burger king promotions. One of my favorite things I learned from there is that Wales was part of the US in the cartoons. Also the page on Carbombya is great
From the transformers fan wiki: "Another persistent rumor is that Jesus once died and came back to life. Given this (and the fact that he has only been referred to in dialogue, never established in person), he may simply be a metaphor for Optimus Prime."
@@llamalitany The fact that Jesus has a page on that wiki makes it even funnier. I also know that there are pages on Darth Vader and other Star Wars Characters, with some of my favorite quotes being "'Does Darth Vader have to choke a bitch?' is always a rhetorical question," and "I clapped when I saw DARTH VADER!"
The Earth Defense Force (EDF) wiki is also hilarious. It describes a vehicle from EDF 5 called the Free Bike like this: _"A far cry from the armored brick haphazardly mated to a sports motorcycle that was the SDL1, the Free Bike is a sleek futuristic bike painted in the EDF's blue and yellow livery (save the Omega Free Bike, which is instead pink with anime girls because of course it is)."_
This is why TV Tropes is so valuable. They update way more often. The Vshojo character page has been altered a lot in 2023, being reorganized and all the new faces of course.
I think it's more like someone created it a year ago or shortly after GEEGA's indie debut, and it's just not been updated since. Or if it is, it's in isolation about specific things. Someone who is devoted to GEEGA should be updating her Wiki so that her information remains current. It's actually a very good way of supporting your streamer.
It's a catch-22. To keep out the vandals and exploiters, wikis tend to have a waiting period after new editors join before they can change anything. In the Vtuber Wiki, it's seven days plus jumping through hoops. By that time, most of the informed fans have forgotten about it. The days when anybody could throw up misinformation on Wikipedia were like twenty years ago.
The best thing about Geega is how she was clearly a chatter for a long time before she was ever the streamer. She'll show up in people's chats and just shitpost with everyone else. She knows that it's twitch culture to hit the streamer's buttons. She's a menace just as much as the rest of chat, and doesn't bother to switch to an alt. Whoever decided to recruit her made a genius move.
I can 100% confirm that wikitubia is unreliable. Source - when I was a teenager me and a friend would intentially add completely made up info to wikitubia articles, and some of it is still up there to this day! And this wasn't just on small channels that no one's heard about, we wrote an entire paragraph on Onision's page which is completely made up, and people have editd to fix grammar, formattting, and add links, but no one thought to check the sources or delete it, LMAO
seems the Wiki page is outdated because first: several Colabs are missing like "Who is your daddy", cooking collabs and "Mario Party Superstars" (we all know how especialy Zen likes the game :D). second thats not all games she played because games like Sifu, Doom or ULTRAKILL (favorite Mode was the cyber grind i guess) are missing. and third since 2023 (i don´t know which date) she isn´t indie anymore.
Kson and Matara San are taller than most men at 189 cm 6'25 and 182 cm 6' both taller than the only bloke in the organization. Zen on the tall end to with 177 5'10. Their is a bunch between 160 5'3 and 170 5'7. Only, iron mouse, project melody, Henya and Geega are considerably short. By Vtuber standard, Vshojo is very tall.
@@taxelsquest6824 oups indeed, I got the respectively wrong, she is 189 according to the wiki. She has another model according to the which is 152 cm but I've never seen it. In real life, she is nowhere near 189 cm.
I have no idea what the real height of Froot and Haruka would be, but Froot does intend to eventually visit some conventions. Hime seems to be an average height -- when she isn't the size of the Empire State Building, I mean. Matara and Kson we've seen in Giri's kitchen. But yeah; Melody, Henya, and Mouse are all famously cinnamon roll-sized. So, it's maybe half of them are tiny ladies.
Probably to help with driving and things like getting stuff off shelves at the grocery store. Sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do to make things a little easier in the long run!
The TMNT games are great, and also who cares? Play would like to stream, don’t have to play what everyone else is playing. I understand the stream and RUclips meta wants you to play the most recent or popular game, but if you want to something like Digimon Cybersleuth series or Sonic the Hedgehog months after release who cares? Your streaming a certain game that isn’t popular current, and if your still getting the your usual amount of viewers or more, then your obviously doing something right.
Indie vtubers joining a corp is literally how VShojo was founded

This page also still listed her as an independent Vtuber, so this is very, VERY outdated.
Before she was GEEGA, she was Geega, but in all caps

It still depends on how popular something is. TV Tropes is basically just another wiki and can have *egregiously* wrong information in its trope list.
It is more accurate to say that she streams games and does chatting streams. You cant be specific with games because the list always grows.
Of course they got her height with and without the shoes correct
Comment : ''who were you before ?''
Geega ''Geega always been geega''

I just imagine Geega having big ass Mickey Mouse shoes 🤣
I'm hoping they're like Disco Stu's fish-shoes in _The Simpsons_ 😅
I wish Giga was professional TMNT streamer.
I will say I use wikis alot if I don't know the vtuber to get info, not the one dge used I primarily use the virtual youtuber wiki

The collabs list would probably be too long lmao
Are... Are all Vshojo women tiny?
Matara and Zentreya are both much taller than the average Canadian and American female, respectively.

Wait, so you actually wear 4 inch platform shoes? I honestly thought that was a joke.

Fandom pages are a mediocre resource and it's a terrible platform.
