yes, the smell is specific, especially in the presence of a catalytic converter.

@@AutotuningChannel off course its not v8 but.. when you use this car normal , not one day in month, this engine is the best. In one , two months, i will look for car in exac specs as Yours :)
@@ppanek for everyday driving, of course, the V8 is not suitable, especially at current fuel prices ... and the V6 is less whimsical in service, a workhorse on a manual transmission. fuel consumption 9-12 liters

The 2.8 litre was not the fastest engine but I do believe it was the most reliable.
The 2.8-liter engine is the most reliable, it is. When it comes to swapping, only LS series engines are worth considering.
Hardly doubt it the 305 is bullet proof ,

I have the same thing in Camaro form. I am not trying to race so I am really torn on getting a new 2.8 since it is so cheap. I mean mine drives great but it's just an idea. How has it been performing for you? Also can I say thank you for doing a video that features the car and engine and not you. I am so tired of these guys with a camera in their face half the video.
Hi 👋 you are right, with this motor the car is not for racing. but after installing the compcams camshaft kit, the car became much more dynamic. also, after installing a manual gearbox, the dynamics have noticeably risen, the car has become more manageable. thanks for the feedback 🤝👋
