If you're as much a Jasmine lover as I am you will probably enjoy Cestrum nocturnum (Night-blooming Jessamine) or 'Queen of the Night'. It is a member of Solanaceae, the tomato/potato family. Poisonous, yes, but one of the most powerfully fragrant plants, a tropical shrub to 15 feet in height but easily maintained to 5 to 6 feet. Reputedly the most fragrant of Jasmine-type plants in the World, and I would agree with that reputation. Not a true Jasmine but a large growing shrub with Jasmine-like flowers and a scent beyond heavenly. Mogra, 'Pikake' or Sambac Jasmine, commonly called Arabian Jasmine is a fabulous plant, I have one as well, very sweet-scented Gardenia-like scent and very resilient and durable plant. Great choice Andy! ❤😊👍🏻
Yes I agree, the heady scent of the Night queen -which releases its perfume in the night -is simply Intoxicating!! Our neighbour had one in her garden and each time it was in bloom, I'd go berserk and would follow the scent like some crazed animal and just drench in those booms! ( my neighbour would have no idea of what I was doing as her flowers usually bloomed outside of her fence). So you get the idea.
@@HouseplantHacks Do enjoy it if and when you grow it my friend, it is exquisite and I will most definitely stay tuned, you are truly a delight to watch and I enjoy the shared knowledge of experiences in your videos! Cheers! 🙂
I have a Madagascar trailing indoor jasmine. I immediately had to double the size of the hoop and prune back drastically each year to retain that round hoop look. I would love to change the shape and just let it grow naturally and creep across furniture or hang from a hanging basket or whichever other way is best but dont know if its possible to untangle it from its frame. Im in UK and its just started budding now so not a summer flowering jasmine. Therefore, would like to change the shape after flowering is over
This was a while back now I can't remember, it was from a local grower in the UK so only in the post for a day or so, it arrived happy and started growing again within a few weeks. Most growers will replace a plant if it arrives damaged or unhealthy or dies soon after purchase.
I just love a good ole plant unboxing video don't you Mr. Mouse? Yeah, reminds me of Christmas. Oh look, there's a piece of paper in there, I bet you that Santa's naughty or nice list! I'll just take that! Hey! You can't take that Andy needs that! You don't have to look if you're naughty or nice you're naughty! You're naughty! You come back here! 📨🏃((((((🐀((((((((

No update yet, it's growing very slowley for me at the moment, I'm hoping for a good growth and flower season next year.
Hi Andy I was thinking of growing this how has yours turned out?
It is a little fussy but I've got its growing strongly now, it has dropped some flowers a few times but the scent is worth the effort!
@@HouseplantHacks nice is this one indoor plant
How much did you pay including shipping? Is it guaranteed to have a replacement if plant dies?
