Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

If only murad had a capable heir after him then the empire might have gotten back to its best but everything murad built was destroyed with Ibrahim weakness and madness and kosems desire for power

While sultan sulaimon becomes sultan at the age of 26 . During his time the corruption rebellious people were not that much as of sultan murad time .. and sultan sulaimon died at the age of 72 so I believe and it's even 100 percent possible that if sultan murad lives till 72 years like sultan sulaimon so he would be a more successful and greater sultan than sulaimon..

Murad was the only normal child of Kosem and Ahmet. He was wise like Ahmet and like Kosem he would never bow his head to anyone. No doubt Murad was the best of all and if he would live longer he would do such as things that not even Sultan Suleiman the magnificent did.

Mam I know that Suleiman liked Hurrem very much and sometimes took political advises from her but it doesn't mean that he was controlled by Hurrem. His time is even not included in the Sultanate of women which began during the reign of Murad III. When he was explicitly used by his mother Nurbanu Sultana. While Murad was eventually a puppet in the hands of Kosem during the first 9 years of his reign. Hurrem was a powerful woman but she was unable to control Suleiman. Suleiman was very intelligent and doesn't let women influence his decision. Otherwise he was not called magnificent. Although Mustafa was executed which was what Hurrem wanted, it was because Mustafa asked the Safavid shah to help him ascending the throne, which was considered a treason. @@samadritobhowal4648 true Suleiman was never controlled by hurrem but you are wrong about the part where mustapha wanted to become sultan with the help of shah. There is no proof that mustapha was ever going to rebel against his father despite having the full support of the military and could have done it anytime he wanted. As for murad I would never call him a puppet. He was just young when kosem ruled through him and the moment he was old enough he ended her term as regent and took full control and did a better job than kosem by stabilising the empire and ending all the corruption and rebellions that was constant throughout kosem reign. Murad weakness was his rage which caused him to self destruct but everyone feared him there’s no doubt about that
