If this movie is half as funny as the first one, they have another winner! So inspiring to see older women still leading exciting, fulfilling lives in style! Please make a third one!

There is "80 for Brady" and now the second part of the 2018 funny movie "Book Club" is here... Only Jane Fonda could make movies about women of certain age. And the bonus part is she make movies with her old time friends with almost the same age as hers... Well almost... Candice is 77, Diane is also 77, Mary is 70 and Jane is 85... 🥰😀

I enjoyed the first film "Book Club" but after seeing the trailer for the "Book Club the next chapter" i wasn't sure if i wanted to see it. Anyway, i decided to see the film at my local cinema and i loved it, i found it funny and moving at times and the friendship and chemistry between the lead actresses/actors is lovely and genuine.

I appreciate these actresses. I think that better writing could have made this a better movie. It was "kitschy" .

Where is Diane Keaton :( ? This film was cute. Reminded me of “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.” I’m a fan of the actresses in this film. Diane Keaton “Somethings Gotta Give”. Jane Fonda “Grace and Frankie/ Monster in Law.” Mary Steenburgen “ What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.” Candice Bergen “Miss Congeniality”. Andy Garcia “When a Man Loves a Women.” Ted Danson I loved in “ Made in America”. Although, he wasn’t in the film lol.

Since I may never get to Italy again, I will probably watch this movie. BUT I wish writers and directors would retire the whole real cop/stripper cop cliche. The Golden Girls did it in the 80s and it had already been done many times before that. Not even the best actors can make this one fresh. We see it coming a mile away.
