While Geragos said things seem to be moving “awfully quick for a federal investigation,” Kaplan noted the swift action could be the result of an informant or potential victim coming forward.

Surprisingly, nobody is defending P Diddy.
But two problems can exist and be pushed to make people see things that might not be there.
Diddy has always had these parties, but since he lives on Star Island, he got to get away with it because he is the RICH AND FAMOUS. He lives around famous people who could have gone to his mansions at any time. So, in a way, his area, including police let diddy do those insane parties that many people knew about.
Also, the people who worked with diddy on different projects DID NOT GET PAID and they were on heavy dr--gs doing, who knows what, to get ahead in the music industry.
Diddy not paying people is a known thing. So if all they want is money and let's say they got evidence with their phone, who's to say that they put themselves in a situation that makes it look like a different reality.
