Love your adventures by water and land. I am enjoying the glimpse of Belgium as my mother was born and raised there and my father fought in the Ardennes, and I, sadly, will never get to see it. How moving that Belgium continues to honor those who fell in her defense.
So so sweet to be able to join in your excellent adventure. I miss many friends I had in England and you help me to fill that void. All my relatives are now gone from my own adventures but I feel like Europe is still with me. The fallen are never left behind, Christmas still stirs the soul and adventurous lady pirates help curb the defeated spirit. Lots of love❤ and best wishes from a winter storm in Arizona 🇺🇸. Have a wonderful time. ❤ from Blue Moon Barn.
I am so glad you are taking us with you on your adventure. Was missing you already. I am so impressed that you have got everything planned to a tee. Bon Voyage…….it will be a great experience and now we cab be with you. Whoopee!!!
Admire you ladies for doing this van trip and thanks for taking us along. Took the day off for new breaks today and got to watch you early today 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️🏴☠️
It is VERY important to remember the Fallen. Young men 17 to mid 20s who gave their lives. It makes me cry when I think about them. May they be blessed and remembered eternally. They were just young lads. 💖
❤ what an exciting adventure with your best friend. Quite emotional seeing the WWII scenes at Dunkirk and in Belgium. Looking forward to next weeks episode on your European travels.
Love your videos Heidi you are a delight! My wife and l look forward to every vid and so well balanced between fun and educational you are a star! Have fun stay safe you two and we look forward to next weeks vid/adventure! Cheers James and Shelly xx.
Good luck and safe travels. Wow, Bonnie was so good with all those dogs at Dover. Well done with all the training to get her to that stage. Shame its so cold here in France for your trip.
Great to see you, Bonny and friend enjoying yourselves Heidi, I drove Tour Coaches through Europe in the 1980’s covering Franc, Holland, Germany, Austria and Italy, I know what it feels like to drive a R/H steered vehicle on the other side of the road! and I had 45 passengers 😂…I did that for 5 years and loved every minute. Be safe 👍🏻
It was Lovely seeing this, especially that you have started your journey & that you are enjoying yourself! Many Thanks for taking us with you! Warmth Wishes from Venice Italy!
I used the tunnel many times when it was newly opened as a way to get to Lake Garda. The drive from Aberdeenshire was a pain though so in recent years the ferry from Newcastle to The Netherlands has been used. It has a late afternoon departure time and arrives the next morning. Your trip will hopefully get you to warmer places. It's been grey and misty all day here.
Again, this is not just a great fun watch, but it's packed with such useful information. I'd forgotten Bonny was French 😂......what a fantastic life you are giving that girl, I love to watch her taking everything in ❤
19:54 Safe travels. Too you and your friend and your precious dogs to. It’s good to see the places you’re visiting and learn about the history of each place. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Thanks Lovely Heidi and little Bonny for taking us along on the first leg of this fantastic adventure over to Europe. Take care and all the best. Stevie ❤
Get a couple of portable radios, walkie-talkie style that way it’s easy communications between you and Sandra while driving or just van to van communicating. There cheap and can also be used on your boats
Thank you both for sharing your fab adventure💞, The last post was emotional eh!🌄 . Glad the pooches are having a blast as well🐕🦮🦮. Looking forward to your next video. 😊 Mostly have a fabulous time 👭🐕🦮🦮
Pro tip ---- if you go to the toilet at the front of the train you will find an observation area. In twenty years of tunnelling I never saw a fish. Appreciate the tribute to the lads and lasses in the war. Dad missed out - too late to get a boat - so he worked his way into Norway, avoided capture, got a lift across the North Sea, then was posted to Burma.
Excellent to see that you girls and the dogs have managed to do the crossing of the Channel through the tunnel, which of course is far better when you are travelling with dogs. Also very good to have done you preparations properly like the dogs papers and you Autoroute passage boxes to avoid the hassle at the toll booths. BTW in case you haven't noticed, you are going North, and Spain and Portugal are in the opposite direction, but never mind Belgium, and if you continue the Netherlands are beautiful too, only don't expect it to be warm, apart from inside your beatiful campervans. 23 and 24 years old vans are normally far more reliable than all the modern ones where most thing are electronicly controled, and that means a LOT MORE to go wrong, your old ones are simple, so less likely to go wrong, and if they do, you don't need the expensive garages with their computerised tests, there is no substitude for K.I.S.S. Have fun ladies, looking forward to your next vlog. Peter.
I travelled down the Somme and visited all the historic places, it was lovely to see Ypres and the bridge where they play the last post again, enjoy your trip(I did) xx
Heidi, my husband and I watch you all the time . We started at your begining and are almost caught up to this year. Your adventures are so awesome. I always said if I could I would spend a whole day with you. You are an amazing person. We love watching and will keep up with you as long as you vlog. Stay safe stay happy and stay true to yourself. We love you Heidi
Oh Heidi and Sandra and Bonnie and her two fur big babies, I am so happy your getting to do this and be a part of your journey. I am already excited for next weeks video. All 5 of you have fun galavanting on your European holiday. See Heidi, not so hard driving on the right hand side. When i use to be a mail carrier we had to learn how to drive the mail trucks and of course the steering wheels are on the right hand side. It took some getting used to. Be safe ladies and the fur babies . Sending hugs from Las Vegas NV 🩷🩷
Great vlog again Heidi 🤩, funny, imformative and poignant. Bonny is doing a fine job protecting her Captain barking at the landlubbers and enjoying herself with her doggy pals! I have a feeling ye and Sandra are going to have a lot of laughs along the way 😄 🏴☠️🌈
Hi Heidi glad your travelling with your best mate Sandra, good to have company. Looked like Bonnie is a beach bum. Both have great adventures, go explore.💚
I was holding my breath for you Heidi, arriving in France in the dark, on the wrong side of the road and where to go. We were scared arriving in the light. Belgium was the first time we saw REAL war damage, very sad. Have a great time mate I’ll be watching for more adventures. Take care lovely and Bonny. 💕
I think you're very brave for taking that train under the Channel. I'm not sure I could do it, just thinking about all that water over my head! This was a great beginning to your epic European journey and I'm really looking forward to seeing all that is to come!
Spent the night in Watten on 15 December in our way to Maastricht for Andre Rieu Concert. A great stopover…..only us and another van that night. Next time we’re going to stop for another night and pop up into the town. It’s a great stop off.
Memories ...not quite as interesting but the same emotion taking car to Tasmania. Travelling with two! GR's! Sandra! an adventure- Bonny travelling well? Love the Bundy hat ( ex Queenslander) Thank you❤ - safe, happy adventures to everyone Jan Adelaide❤
Hello Heidi and Bonny and Sandra and Sandra's furry kids -- what a lovely video. I am super excited to be taking this trip with you. I made it through passport check - Subscriber Passports are good anywhere it seems. Dunkirk was amazing and you could sort of feel the history there - so many gave so much to keep us free - God bless them and their families. We in the US don't really know about a lot of this because we don't live there so I am am grateful for you taking us along and sharing all of this with use. See you next week ... Hugs to you all from Gramma Lainee and may we all come to know peace in our world
Loving this journey, but please get back on the canals in spring. You so much amuse and entertain. I always have a wine (sorry) while watching your vlogs, but always raise a glass to Pudding❤️ never to be forgotten. Keep safe and well and enjoy your tour. ❤️
You're amazing, so adventurous and brave! Thank you SO much for taking us along on your family visits, as well as on the boat and on the occasional vacation as well. I love seeing all the various attractions along the way, can't wait until the next episode.
Ypres is pronounced 'eepruh' but the British soldiers called it 'Wipers. The last post at the Menin Gate is so atmospheric. Enjoying the vlogs, really useful info for those of us thinking of taking our pets on the Shuttle.
My grandfather fought at Ypres in the first world war, thankfully he came back ok. i went there a few years ago and was amazed at all the names of the lost soldiers on the walls inside the Menin Gate. Have a safe adventure all of you.
I know what the tunnels look like now. And what France looks like parts of it. Enjoy your adventures with Sandra. I enjoyed the Last post, Thanks to 🇫🇷 France .
So pleased you decide to film your adventures on the continent, Heidi - really enjoyed the episode. Hope you all have a ‘rum’ old time on the rest of your road trip !
Wow, great to see you and little Bonnie having a great time. The part about Dunkirk especially poignant for me as my grandad was one of the last soldiers to be rescued from there only to go back again on D day and luckily get back in one piece. Enjoy the rest of your trip and can't wait for the next installment.
Little tip for Eurotunnel virgin's reading this, if you suffer motion sickness the Action of your vehicle suspension and the trains suspension acting independently of one another will set it off so to combat this get out of your vehicle. Thanks for vid Heidi, must have been strange walking on a beach where hundreds of thousands of men were huddled from the bombs and bullets frightened for their lives.

Yes it was very overwhelming ❤️ especially after going to the museum first
I've done the toll dash many times, trying to get back to the drivers seat before the barrier goes back down lol.
Once near Barcelona on the AP7 i got out to pay and the drivers door locked. I was in panic mode because it was in rush hour and i didn't know what to do then i realised I'd taken the key out of the ignition and put it in my pocket without thinking and it set the lock off.
Haha it’s a nightmare isn’t it 🤣🤣
Safe travels ladies. Thanks for taking us along. Best wishes, Deb
Thank you! You too!
Thank you , danke für die deutschen Untertitel ❤. Und danke für das schöne Video. Grüße aus 🇦🇹
