Yes it’s a Bollywood song. And yes, Bollywood songs can and do have American, Latino, Arabic or East Asian inspirations. Just like how some American pop songs have Asian or Latino inspirations, it creates a variation in the genre. E..g American song with a Chinese oriental tune, or an American rap in a song with latino vibes etc. It just introduces new sounds to the audience it targets.
