Music from the mid age. And my favorite from this age... Civilization III and all materials is property of their respective owners. (Firaxis, Infogrames and etc.)
Turns out they ain't THAT great. Ancient Cavalry from Statue of Zeus i found to be more important, especially in its era. Maybe its just bias because in my playthrough the Crusader was somehow ownd by spearmen, archers and medieval infantry time and time again lol
@@Cx10110100 I usually live peaciful in Ancient Era so, Statue of Zeus can be ignored. Also you know, ivory can't be found sometimes. Nvm, Civilization 5 rules! Not turning back to 3 anymore.
I remember playing this game for the first time and getting into this era of the game and when this music starts playing it gave me goosebumps, I immediately stopped playing and just listened until it was over. To me it just sounded like a thanks to all the other prior civilization games. The song is slower but still the same song from all the prior versions.
it definitely is, its a traditional song I wish they kept going in the future civilization games. It seems the sountracks sort of died which to me was one of the best things about these games.
When I first heard this many years ago I could not stop crying for all day. the cello is what grips you first and then the glass chimes are like the tears that fill your eyes soon after
when i was 6 i got this game this game marked my childhood then i get the civ 4 gold edition no this christmas im gettin civ 5 i followed this "chronicles since the 2001 sat my whole life
Same here man, I can remember sitting on my papas lap playing this on his old XP desktop. I was entranced by the visuals and the game, but it was the history that really peaked my interests, and funnily enough it was this game that really introduced me to ancient history
I love this game. I normally get into war mid or late ancient times in which the other countries pile up on me and I have to fight my way into cities all the way til like 2018 when I start bombing, shelling, and pillaging my enemies into starvation. I like occupying enemy cities the most. One city at a time sometimes 2 or 3.
SWITCH TO AQUEDUCT IMMEDIATELY
Ahhh the music when you don't have to worry about cleaning up pollution lol
][=?'om
lol nc one
Oriental feudalism, samurái, knights, pikerman, fire galley, Leonard workshop Wonder.
Unless volcanoes erupt...
I'm hearing this after years and now I want to build a Knights Templar to produce crusaders in every 5 turns.

This song always cheers me up when I am depressed
This song makes the countless turns till the Industrial Era so much better
yeah, medival age can drag, but it's the best part of the game imo
@@KauegFlaiugAAAAA Best time to grow grow grow them cities
The Shining Path... one of my favorite Civilization tracks. Loved it in CivNet, loved it in Civilization IV, and it's one my favorite tunes here.
I remember playing this when I was 6 and having no idea what was going on lol
'The Shining Path' from Civ II
As soon as I open this song I get chills...I always love this song and all of the soundtracks from Civilization II and III
I played this game for only two weeks in my first high school year, this song NEVER left my head.
so many late nights with one more turn
I love this track. It's what I listen to when everything is right with the world and I'm at peace with my thoughts. So peaceful and nostalgic.
"Daddy? How do you get the different advisors?""Is it because you are persian?"
I would ask in my childhood
I love this song :)
This is my personal favorite track of all civ series. Finally found it!

This song makes me happy when im organizing the city
Do not cry because it is over...
Such a beautiful song. 😊

You could mix in the sound of 20 knights fortifying in a stack!
unless you turned off animations, but in the early game, unless you're playing sim moves, who would do that?
Back when MP3 players were a thing, I used to copy the Civ 3 music files into my MP3 player and listen to them on loop.
Ah... times.
When I first heard this many years ago I could not stop crying for all day.
the cello is what grips you first and then the glass chimes are like the tears that fill your eyes soon after
I love the bass rhythms in this one
sweet god all those feels
This would have to be one of my favourite Civ 3 Themes, I love the part from 2:19 to 3:03.

These feelings dude i was 4 when i played Civ 3
who the hell plays civilization at 4 years old lmao
Hell I was playing Diablo 1 and AOE2 at 4, it isn't impossible lol. Just so happened Civ 3 came out a bit later than when I was 4...

nice =D I played dis when I was little and always got beaten cuz I waged wars by middle ages and didn't understand the concepts of the game lol
"hey why are my stack of spearmen all dying when i try to attack?"
sometimes I would have to pause the game, this song would that to me, just to listen to the music.
The Game that started my love of history.
The Soundtrack which bewitched me and my children…
As they sat, on my knee, and learned the art of war…
"Art"
Feudalism war, musketer, pikerman, galley, favorite age. No polution beautiful wonders.
excellent!
For some reason, I always started a war when this music track came on (If I wasnt already at war)
My Favorite Soundtrack ;).
Good stuff right here
Well, they are but civ 1,2 and 3 share same themes
in 4 it is also Mao's Diplomacy theme if you listen carefully .
I wonder how many people searched for The Shining Path music after his comment. I know i did.
2009 and no more videos sad man
@jedihunter176 um well I'm 15 atm I think.. and it was released in 2001 so yea o__O youngest I could've been was 6 when I played it lol
This song doesn't have enough softlocks
This song was carried over from civ 1, it was the chinese theme
Really? I don't hear it...
@@melanie6700 It's The Shining Path from Civ II
I know all the songs from this game off by heart. Fanatic or what?
@redwaller66 Same here
It sounds like a fairytale or religious theme
Music oriental feudalism.
Why civ 5 and 6!?! Have good music!
Civ 1's songs were just a bunch of bleeps, nothing as complicated as this.
Is this the soundtrack for Civ3, or was it stolen from Minecraft?
It's the sound track for civ 3 (and 2 and 4) - it's nothing to do with Minecraft
Kids these days -_-
