I met him yesterday, here in Mexico City and he is THE kindest, coolest, and approachable famous person I have ever met. I still can't believe he was that cool. That's exactly what I thought before I met him. He likes to show off and always says the same things. The "spit or swallow" thing was hilarious, but he later explained what happened in an interview with Ariel. But when I met him, he was a VERY friendly, funny, and nice guy. Another lesson I received in judging people before meeting them.

I was a big fan of Werdum's ever since his Pride years, and when he fucked up Gonzaga for the 2nd time in UFC. And I was still a fan of his when he got KTFO by JDS, but he got hate for not resigning with UFC and went to Strikeforce,
I was proud of him for being the 1st to actually beat the Greatest of ALL TIME Fedor. People doubted him, as he countinuouly beat everyone in front of him. Gladly he would have beat Overeem if he had 5 round fight.

Weidman won the first round, more pressure and control. Rockhold easily won the second with those thundering kicks. And Weidman was winning the 3rd up until that horrible spin-attempt, very poor tactical error on Weidman's part.
Rockhold Jiu-Jitsu and striking made the difference. And Weidman made the biggest mistake of his life with that spin and the GnP that followed was nasty.

But Wikipedia also says "Chris Weidman was born in Baldwin, New York, the second of three children. It is important to notice that both DC & Cain were gassed up early because they were body punched. It has to be directly related to their training together. They like to spar a lot but both neglected their cardio & mid section strenght. The AKA team created an environment where they were super heroes, invincible magic men that simply were defeated by more talented guys. Rockhold is on his way to have similar problems with Weidman. DC will remain to be the only one with a belt in AKA, even when he did not get it from any champion but in a fake title fight.
Can't wait till Weidman takes his soul.
