My theater group did this. I cried in this scene every single time.
I never noticed how Ismay quietly sneaks onboard behind the crew, I saw him after about two minutes and I was keeping a close eye on who got in the lifeboat!
It was two years ago today that i went to see the Tralee musical soc put on this production. It has had a profound impact on me since. A hauntingly stunning performance by all.( esp Barrett and Ida & Isidore Strauss!) Still brings tears to my eyes! BRAVO!!
p.s. Today is also the 99th anniversary of the ship's sinking. May all those who perished RIP.
This was very good and very moving. I loved the staging. I haven't seen but this part of your production but it had me crying. Look now to your other clips from Titanic.
What a lovely production. Wish i could have seen the whole production live.
Well done. I played oboe when we did this musical and this was one of my favorite songs to play
Looks as you had a lovely production. I played Caroline in 2002, and our director also thought we should sing "Come say you love me..." together. Took me a while to get used to it, but now I always miss it when I only hear Charles. :-) Nice to see someone else did the same!
I read an article that said there were enough life boats for everyone. Men, women and children. The emphasis of having women and children in the lifeboats stirred chaos. If they didn't prioritize then many could have been saved.
Awesome!
I wasn't saying anything about the material itself... Yeston has nothing to do with the blocking of the piece... I was commenting that the movement that they do at the end looks similar to the march from One Day More. I am aware that these shows are on different sides of the musical theatre spectrum...
I love to see the whole thing is a way you can post it
I played the major: and made sure to put my own spin on it; during this
part the actress palying maddie kissed me good bye the winers where
behind me and i let them go first : at the end i took my hat off while
i waved goodbye and the mother of the young boy blew me a kiss
and i shared a soalte with the boy
@samwiseyoufool charles clarke, caroline neville. clarke is a second class citizen eloping to america with his fiance caroline because her father wont allow the marriage (she is first class). he dies, she lives.
@senorlucien
No, I don´t think, Maury Yeston has build paralels to Les Miserables. Titanic is an another class as Les Mis.
hey. i just found out i was casted as caroline...what is her character like and what is her role? i am not really familiar with the musical
Does anyone know who the two characters are that are being torn apart at around 5:00??
theres not much urgency with this ida and isador:/. i would love to have seen her more frantic.
ausome
Are they doing the march from Les Mis at the end...?
Is there a full show recording?
@@buttons2000xx how to we see it?? This is wonderful
