- ➤LONDON GRAMMAR are an English indie pop band from Nottingham, formed in 2009. The band consists of Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dominic 'Dot' Major.
Their debut album, *If You Wait*, was released in September 2013. The album reached number two on the UK Albums Chart and was certified double platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The band's second studio album, "Truth Is a Beautiful Thing", was released in June 2017, peaking at number one on the UK Albums Chart.

Yes, dearest Michelle, the wonderful Hannah Reid is the star of breakthrough wonderful band *London Grammar* ...Hannah's hair is as beautiful as her voice ;-) When I first heard *L G* , I was simply astounded by Hannah Reid's voice. Dan Rothman and Dominic Major have created gorgeous melodies for it to soar over, but the strongest element here is Hannah's stunning vocal performance which grabs you and demands your attention - I don't know how many octaves her full range encompasses, but my word... it goes from the lowest of the low to a crystalline high! My god do they even know how much style and class they have-in a world of horrible modern plastic music, it makes an older person like me so very happy to know that soulful music is still being made and sung in such a beautiful way...

Her voice doesnt sound like she was feeling 100% that day, or for this set (crowd singing saves her voice) airy tone in her upper register, but still so controlled and angelic ❤

Never heard of this song or this group until today when I heard this on Spotify. After watching this performance twice, I’ve listened to the song at least 20 times today. Freaking amazing and the worlds taste in music is so out of whack.
The band met and formed at the University of Nottingham. Hannah and Dan are from London; Dot is from Northampton. After they graduated, they moved to London to pursue music full-time. So sort of from Nottingham--but really more from London!
