What a beautiful story. If not because of this video, I wouldn't know all these things about Lito Gruet. He was one of the famous models during his time, a class model who entered showbiz like Richard Gomez, Raul Zaragosa, Ricardo Cepeda, John Estrada etc. I really believe that God chosed him to experience all those terrible things so that he could help other people who are lost and hopeless in this period of time. If he didn't have those, what are the things he could share to inspire others? I feel so glad that God gave him wisdom to become instrument in helping people to change their lives while there is still time

We will help BAI in our own means and I wish many other OFWs would be able to send their assistance either through here or whatever means they know. Had a chance to meet Lito Gruet, at the height of his addiction, when he and two of his women friends checked in to our hotel, Manila Pavilion, around early 90s. They ran out of money to pay for their rooms and meals. They skipped out of the hotel without paying their bills. Thank God he overcame his addiction. May God bless him.

An inspiring story to the point na nakabangon pa siya for the second time with the grace of God. Lahat naman nanggagaling sa diyos hindi sa atin talent, skills, at physical attribute dahil ito man galing rin sa kanya.Wala naman nagbago dahil sa sarili natin effort but the will of the Lord. Because God is good, all the time. Mabuti nga nabuhay pa siya through all the years na palaboy siya sa kalsada. Puede siyang saksakin na lang o pag tripan ng mga kapwa niya addict rin. The street is not a safe place to live. Nakapagtataka pa nga ang mga katulad ni Lito na nasa kanya na lahat, the looks, the height, the potential na naging model and actor napariwara pa ang buhay dahil sa droga. He was tempted by the devil and easily give-in. Dahil ang tao ang gusto talaga sa buhay ay puro sarap. Kung nagtapos muna siguro siya ng architecture studies baka hindi nangyari ang lahat ng ito. Masarap kasi ang kumikita na ng pera kaysa magaral. At dahil na rin sa family problem at nagiging monotonous na rin ang pagaartista na wala na ng thrill ang lahat para sa kanya. Health hazard ang drugs dahil sa tagal ng gamitan ng chemical compound na iyan magkakaruon ng complication sa atin kidney or liver na dumadaloy sa atin blood stream ang chemical na iyan sisirain pa ang mga vital organ ng katatwan. That could lead to death. Mas masarap mabuhay kung mabait ka sa kapwa mo at marami kang natutulungan as Lito had said hindi mababayaran ng pera ang feelings na nararamdaman mo pag tumutulong ka sa kapwa. Ang maka sarili hindi iyan masaya sa buhay. Self-gratification lamang ang kanilang nakikita at hindi ibang tao. Kasama na natin ang problema ng pinanganak tayo dito sa mundo. In actual form, minsan tayo rin pala ang problema. In Matthew 11:28- Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Says the Lord. Get high with God not drugs. Kaya tutuo ang kasabihan "kung gusto mong masira ang buhay mo mag droga ka".

Hi Kabayan Julius, nagulat naman ako sa nangyari dito kay Lito Gruet… hindi ako makapaniwala na naging miserable pala ang buhay nya kaya pala nawala sya sa showbiz…, eh idol na idol ko pa naman itong taong to nuong panahon namin… kasi kamukha ko sya nung college days ko kaya Tolits ang bansag sakin ng mga classmates ko… at dahil sa Napanood ko na to eh biglang akong may naalala way back my college days na di ko makakalimutan ung isang tagpo sa cultural center na kasama ko mga classmates ko at habang naglalakad kami eh nakasalubong namin ang isang lalaki na parang pamilyar ba??? Sa paglalakad namin ng mga classmates ko bigla naming nakasalubong ang isang Mama na kakaiba ang tindig na pabirong nasabi ng classmate ko na Uyyy Tolits kamukha mo yung Mama, kahawig mo Tol… Sabi ko Oo nga ano mukhang idol ko yata yun ni Lito Gruet at nagtatalo pa nga kami at pagtingin ko uli eh nakalingon din sya samin at ngumiti pa sakin na May maaliwalas na mukha at nginitian ko din Tapos nun diretso na kami ng mga classmates ko kc need na naming makauwi kc finals pa namin kaya we all went home na… nakakaawa naman po pala sya… papano ko po kaya sya ma re reach out… pwede po bang malaman ang contact number nya…. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Kudos to you Sir Lito, my brother passed away at 46 due to alcoholism. He slowly killed himself by drinking too much. I was very young that time, all other sibs busy with own lives. it was too late.. sana po marami pa kayong matulungang mamulat ang mga mata sa sama ng epekto ng droga at alak.. Wow! Kung may 2 million lang ako I would love to donate to this kind of ministry. But for now I don't have money. I share the same passion with you, sir, Lito. Someday, I will have this kind of ministry. This is the first time that I was really blessed listening to a vlog. I listened for the whole 40 minutes. I also share the same experience, but not to the extent na grabe talaga. For sure I will visit their site one of these days and learn from them when I travel to Cebu. This is a very inspiring episode. And it is really an eye opener to many of our young who lost their path. Much more i was surprised when she mentioned his wife, Stella. She was my classmate in HS way back in the 8o's and i admire her for helping Lito come back to life. I am greatly willing to help the foundation. Naka relate ako, actually na kasabay ko si Lito minsan sa Cebu, he's a friend of my circle of friends, pinakilala ako na Lito Gruet siya, artista, kainuman lng namin, that was in 90s. Buti na lng nung pumasok yung 2000, i was able to recover and masaya ako nung una kong mabalitaan sa FB na nakarecover rin si Lito 👍👍👍👍
