I’ve been seeing this type of wall art at Target and Burlington and wondered where I could find square dowels. Thanks for your creative ideas and direction.
I have been admiring this type of art and was planning to try it with the round dowels. But now I might consider the square ones as well. Love your technique. Thanks for sharing. ❤
This is so fabulous! I was thinking of creating this with regular skewers but these square ones are better. I was also imagining this with orchids temporarily attached or as a room divider. Thank you for sharing!🥰
This is great! I'm definitely doing this. I spent $50 at Target for one of the hangings you featured in your intro. It is my favorite piece. Thank you for this diy!!
Love this.!:-) I've been wanting to create something similar for a while and am thinking some old jewellery pendants/brooches/metal discs might add an extra dimension if all sprayed in the same metallic finish or maybe some copper tones. Hmmm. More thinking to do! Thanks for the inspiration!
Treshaja, "If you don't have a mitre saw..." Me, 'I've got a bread knife.' 🤣🤣 (it's actually a ham knife, been in my family forever, and gets used for everything).
Great project and you make it look easy. Tresha I am doing a do over In my master bathroom and have this large standard bathroom mirror which spreads over two sinks with glass framed around it. I did not want to take it down right now but what do you suggest how I can decorate that part of of the mirror or you can actual show how you would actually do it. Thanks
Liiiisteeeeen I’ve been racking my brain for months now trying figure out how to make this I saw this online and wanted to make one soooo bad but u just got me inspiration and hope again lol thank u
Out of the park, my friend!! Love this and going to do this. I could see this going with almost any design style. My home is boho/vintage and this one definitely goes with that. I could see this with tiny twinkle lights on it or with vines from a nearby plant wrapping around it. So many options. Thank you!
Yayyy. I had previously said to myself " surely you'd you'd knock this diy out sooner or later". I too have my skewers for $1.00 too just for this project
Great idea Treshaja! I've been wondering what to do with a huge amount of dried out sage brush branches that I have. I think I'll make a more rustic version of your piece using the irregular shapes & sizes. They are naturally a silvery gray color, but I can see painting them in various colors too. Thanx!
Nice. I would add some type of little silver balls/beads randomly to it; to give it an additional layer/look to it. They can even be in a different color black, gold, bronze or white. T f s. Have a nice day.
I’m learning how to do wall art, by watching you. Thanks lady.

I think I’m going to try this and glue to a canvas for a 3D effect
Brilliant idea
I wonder how that would look against a mirror?
👍
I made this abstract piece with wooden dowels. Total coast $4
I would prefer rounded dowel and go with copper color to look like copper pipes.

Very interesting piece. Maybe instead of a hook to hang on you could have put 2 sawtooth hangers on the back fro ballance and hung on 2 nails.
You have remotes for the tv& fire place? You were able to put them in what I call blind, you can't see the cords, how is that done?
in my opinion, this is wall decor not art...but it looks nice...:)
Beautiful. You are SO AWESOME!
